Heading to school my mom raced with possibilities of all things Knight. What he was wearing today. What we were going to do later. What we meant to each other now. If we were together or if it was just a casual thing. He said he wanted us to start over, start fresh, but did that mean as friends or as something more?
I was starting to act like a typical fucking girl and I didn't know how I felt about it. Boy obsessed and stupidly excited wasn't my typical thing, not since I was younger and Knight was my go to fantasy boy. He was in my dreams day and night before I even knew what liking someone actually meant. Hell, he was my best friend since I was seven. The boy I looked forward to seeing every summer. The boy I wrote letters to, emailed and talked to on the phone any chance I got throughout the year until we saw each other. But now it felt like I was going back there. Having Knight back in my life had me really wanting him in all parts of my life. To the point that he consumed every small, minuscule thing.
I wanted to tell him about every tiny detail of my day. Wanted to see him. Come home to him. Talk to him at all hours of the day.
With my head not clear and focused on hazel eyes as I drove to school I forgot my favorite thing to accompany my mornings; My routine stops at Starbucks for my coffee. Clearly I wasn't the only one who noticed because when I opened my locker to grab my books muscular tatted arms trapped me from behind. Spinning around I came face to face with the guy I was thinking about all morning. He smirked. "Where's your coffee, Skye light?"
I looked down avoiding his eyes for a split second while a slow grin formed on my face. When I looked back up I saw knights eyes light up as they gazed down at my lips. "I forgot."
His smile turned devious as he racked his teeth over his bottom lip. "Distracted this morning?"
"A little." My voice came out breathy as I stared into his eyes.
Knight leaned down, his lips touching my ear as he whispered. "Baby, there's nothing little about it. You know that. Or do I need to remind you? Again."
He bit my lobe dragging it through his teeth and let out a low chuckle when I gasped, a shudder flying through my body. He felt it and gripped my waist. His hand flexing as if he was fighting himself to take me right here or not.
When I didn't say anything Knight peeled back, looking me directly in the eyes when he smiled saying, "Can't wait for tonight."
Opening my mouth to respond I settled with a jump when a solid hand came down on Knight's shoulder. "Looking a little cozy there, buddy." Knight chuckled closing his eyes and shaking his head. "How bout you back the fuck up so I can say hi to twinkle toes for a minute."
I laughed when Knight growled at his best friends words. He was getting possessive and a warm sensation filled me at the thought. Knight reluctantly pulled away but only took a slight step to the side to allow his best friend closer to me.
"Hi, Niko," I said in an amused voice.
"Hey, girl." Niko leaned in with a smirk giving me a half hug while whispering in my ear. "Don't be too worried it looks like you've got him by the balls already. He won't fuck up again."
When Niko pulled back I stared at him a moment. My eyes drilling into his to make sure what he said was sincere and true and from what I could tell from his face-his eyes, his expression- it was. I gave him a tight nod in response hoping to all things holy that Knight wouldn't fuck up and neither would I.
Grabbing my stuff out of my locker I closed it before batting Knight's chest and telling him I'd see him later. We didn't kiss. Didn't hold hands or make it known that we were anything more than what we were... whatever that was at the moment. But throughout the day we couldn't seem to keep our eyes off each other. No matter where we were we always found one another. Felt the others presence and looked for it.
During lunch I felt hazel eyes burning into my skin the entire time I ate with Lila. I glanced over a few times with a smile on my face but I never left her. And when French finally came around it was like the sexual tension between us could be cut with a knife it was so thick in the room. Niko even muttered, "damn," when he walked in the room and took his seat glancing between us.
I laughed at his remark and attempted to her my head down but it was unavoidable. Knight was unavoidable. So when we broke off into our groups to complete today's assignment I finally caved.
"You're killing me right now."
Knight looked at me with such desire in his eyes I was sure I could melt into a puddle right here on the floor any minute now. I crossed my legs tightly trying to diminish the ache. Knight caught the movement and used it to his advantage. Leaning over the desk, hiding his hands insert the table, I gasped when his calloused fingers glided up my bare legs before hitting the hem of my skirt.
"Likewise, baby. Now spread these legs and come closer so I can get a taste."
My slight gasp had his grin growing but I couldn't deny that I wanted it. I looked around the room making sure no ones eyes were on us and luckily everyone was so engrossed in their assignments and partners they weren't paying any mind to the naughty things that were about to happen between us.
Unfolding my legs I slid closer in my chair lessening the struggle of Knight having to lean over more. He groaned when his fingers began to trace up my inner thigh and just when he was hitting my center I felt my smile grow, waiting for his reaction for what he was going to find.
Knights pupils blew almost taking up his entire eye when he found me bare. He let out the most erotic, low, husky moan when he slipped his thick finger between my folds finding me drenched for him. And when I let out a small gasp, letting my eyes roll back I found him biting his plump lip in satisfaction as he began to rub my aching clit.
He teased, bringing me close to the edge and then slowing his pace to bring me back down. He was playing with me and I couldn't take it anymore but when I tried to take my own pleasure by rocking against him and holding his wrist so he couldn't escape. Knight merely laughed, shaking his head and then pulled his arm out of my grasp and sat back in his seat leaving me an angry pile of built up sexual frustration.
I growled which only made him laugh more. Letting out a huff I decided to distract myself. "So what are we doing tonight?"
Knight smiled. "Having fun."
"Really?" I deadpanned rolling my eyes.
"Yes, really. Stop being a brat and just wait and see. Trust me you're going to have a good time."
"Fine," I let out a huff pretending to be annoyed but actually enjoying the fact that he planned this all out. "As long as you don't bring me to a crack house I think I'll be good."
"Shit. Is that not allowed?"
"Har har, asshole."
Knight smiled and I felt my insides dissolve. The bell rang and we gathered our stuff to leave. Knight rose with me leaning into my ear as we walked out of the classroom. "Don't worry, baby, I got you. See you at seven." He kissed my cheek before walking off and leaving me a smiling mess of nerves.
