Chapter Six

I woke up from my alarm. I looked at my phone to turn it off when I saw that I had a text message.

From: Bryan

Hello! First, how are you doing? It's been a few days. Second, what am I reading? Is that you with Dylan O'Brien? xox Bryan!

I chuckled at his sign off. Was I really that easy to recognize?

To: Bryan

Good morning! I'm doing good thanks, how are you? And well about that, I can't really talk about it sorry! X Jaimy.

I really can't, especially not over a text. I sighed and got under the shower. The warm water felt nice on my skin. After a few minutes later I got out of the shower as my phone vibrated again.

From: Bryan

I'm great thanks. Why won't you tell me? It's clearly you. I know we don't really know each other but I thought we bonded while dancing. Wanna grab a coffee later? xox Bryan

To: Bryan

I can't tell you. I'm not allowed, I know it's weird, I think they make it a bigger deal out of it than it actually is. Sure, I would love to grab a coffee with you, it's amazing how close we actually life from each other. I would love to grab a coffee later, 4pm at starbucks? X J

I threw my phone on the bed and got dressed.

"Morning mum." I said as I entered the kitchen. "Morning love." She greeted me absently. "You're already busy this morning." I noticed. "Mum?" I said when I didn't get a respond. "Mum." I said a bit louder when she didn't respond. "Hmm?" Is all she said while she kept on typing. "You're busy already." I said, repeating myself. "Yeah." I again all I got. I rolled my eyes and grabbed some coffee. "Want some as well?" I asked, trying to get her reaction. As I looked into her direction is saw what she was working on and I almost dropped the mug I was holding. "What the hell mum?" It was a conversation between her and 'Dylan's agent'. "What does he mean before it's goes terrible wrong?" I asked her. "Nothing to worry about love." She said. "Oh so now I'm having your full attention." I scoffed. She sighed. "There is a black van across the street. It's been there since we got back." I raised my eyebrows. "What? Why?" I asked her. "You're the mysterious girl he's spotted with." She said. "I'm keeping you home for a few days." She sighed again. "I don't want this, but I don't see an other way." "No another way? Why are you making such a big deal of this? We saw each other outside that club and that's it. I don't have his number, I don't go out sneaking to see him. We don't leave near each other. What's all the fuss about?" I'm starting to get frustrated. They are going crazy. "This is out of my reach honey, they want to handle it all this way. I'm sorry." I groaned. "Fine. I'll be in my room."

To: Bryan

I'm sorry, can't make it today. I'll text you when I'm allowed to leave the house. X J

"How long are you stuck at home?" Ashley asked through the phone. I have been stuck at home for a week now. I'm going insane, it was another evening of staring at the ceiling. "For another week." I groaned. "Another week?!" She exclaimed. "They can't do that! What about school?" Ashley asked. "Teachers are sending mum homework for me to do and she is kinda homeschooling me. She keep apologizing and stuff but I don't really think she's actually sorry. She just wants this, whatever this is, to be over." "It's crazy." Ashley said. "Yeah, tell me about it. I just talked to the freaking guy. His agent called yesterday by the way." I informed her. "Oh really?" She responded. "What did he had to say?" "Nothing much really, just checking in if I was still home and he asked if had posted anything again. I told him I didn't, then he asked me if I had left the house this week. Also told him no and then he hung up after a good bye. I'm going crazy here Ash. Can't I sneak out to your house?" "You sure you want to go against your mum's rules? Dylan's agents rules?" She asked carefully. "If I don't I'll lose my mind. Please Ash?" I begged her. "Fine, I'll call Thomas and Nora as well." She answered and I cheered. I quickly looked at the door as I realized I cheered a bit to loudly. "You're the best. I'll call T tho, I'll ask him to pick me up." "Okay, see you in a bit." Ashley replied. I said my goodbye and called Thomas.
