A/N: Okay so, there is some smut near the end of the chapter. I put a * for and after, it's not important to the story so if you wanna skip that's fine. Also, this is the last chapter. Please read after the second *
A few days went by before I build up the courage to talk to my mum. Dylan and I agreed to go on a date today no matter how the conversation would go, he would take me out for lunch before going over to Bratt's office to sign some papers. He's supposed to pick me up around 12pm. Dylan has been in contact with his manager to arrange a couple of things now we decided we would go through with all of it no matter how every thing went. We even made a back up plan in case mum would ground me again, or worse, kick me out of the house. The four of us: Dylan, Colton, Holland and I all looked through the contracts together to make sure everything was how we liked it. Sure, we didn't like the fact that they still wanted Colton to have a beard, but as long it was Holland, Colton didn't really seem to mind. So here I was, on a Saturday morning with a lump in my throat walking downstairs to find my mother.
"Mum, we need to talk." I said to her when I found her in the living room watching some television. She looked at me confused before muting the television.
"What's wrong sweetheart?" Mum asked me and I swallowed as I sat down next to her. I took a deep breath, damn, I suck at this kind of conversation.
"About the contract." I started, but as soon as I saw her face harden I knew this wasn't probably going the way I wanted.
"No. Absolutely not." She said before I could say anything else.
"Mum, hear me out-" I tried but she cut me off before I could continue.
"I told you my decision was final Jamesetta. There is nothing you can do about it." She said as she started to get up. I groaned a bit when she used my full name, which made her glare at me.
"No! Mum, please for once hear me out." I pleaded, grabbing her hand. "Bratt already agreed to it!" I said quickly. It wasn't exactly the truth, he said he only agreed if my mum did, but she doesn't need to know that. This made her freeze for a moment. She looked away from me and looked at the muted television.
"He did what?" She whispered, which took me by surprise.
"Dylan and Colton went to talk to him and he agreed. Colton will get another beard and Dylan and I are allowed to date." I said as soft as I could. "The only person who is against it now, is you mum." It's when she looked at me that I noticed her whole feature had changed. Her face has softened and tears filled her eyes.
"You will get hurt. I won't have it." She said a bit louder this time.
"Mum, I'm nineteen. I can make decisions for myself."
"You will get hurt." Is all she said again.
"Accidents can happen all the time, even to regular people. It's just how life is mum. After Dave confronted me I realized I'm not over Jayden at all, but Dylan helped me a lot. He just held me and told me everything would be okay and it felt so nice mum. It's time for me to move on." I whispered, my own eyes filling up with tears. Mum sighed and laid her head in her hands. It felt like hours before she finally spoke up.
"You're already seeing him aren't you?"
"We're not dating, but yes. We've hung out multiple times."
"At Tyler's I presume?" She sighed again and I just nodded. "Does he make you happy?"
"Yes, he does mum."
"Then there is nothing that I can do now, is there?" She smiled weakly. I know she still isn't agreeing with this, but with the fact that Bratt agreed to it and that Dylan does make me happy, all she can do is just accept it.
