*re-read the end of chapter forty nine first!*
"Kris, will you marry me?" Harry asks me and my heart does cartwheels. My eyes begin to water and I nod feverishly. "Yes!" I say and jump on him as he stands up.
And we just stay like that for a moment, both blissfully happy and embracing each other. I pull away slightly, my hands still around his neck. "What kind of timing is this?" I ask. "Well, I don't know what is going to happen tomorrow, but I do know that if I die I want to die with you as my wife." He says and I shake my head.
"Try again." I tell him. "I love you?" He tries. "Listen, I love you too, but I will not just get married tonight, because nothing bad is going to happen to either one of us tomorrow. Okay?" I look deep into his green orbs.
He smiles faintly, nods, and leans in to kiss me. I kiss him back sweetly and that's when the first shot went off. I jumped and Harry pulled me in tighter. "Fucking shit, I had a feeling they were going to pull something like this. Listen, get to the panic room on the second floor and don't come out until I come and get you, okay?" He asks while holding my arms tightly.
I nod and he gives me another kiss. "I'll see you later." He tells me and runs off, and I do the same.
We dart out of the restaurant in different directions, and I made a left, deciding to run through the hospital wing. As I'm running through, I get a text.
Running right into my trap. Catch you in a minute, doll.
-J
I stop running, and turn down a different hallway. I run for about thirty seconds, and then I run right into someone. I look up and am happy to see it's James. "Oh, James, thank god. I'm headed to the panic room. You need to get of of here, now!" I whisper-yell at him.
He looks around us, and then behind him frantically. "Kris, you have to get out of here, it's not safe. You don't understand, they're all he-" A disgustingly familiar English accent cuts him off.
"Ah, well done mate! You got her! I knew you could do it, James. Or should I say, 'J'?" Liam says and grins devilishly. I look at James in horror. "YOU'RE WITH THEM?!" I scream at him. Liam shoots daggers at him, as if silently telling him to choose his next words carefully. James just nods.
Liam and two other guys in leather jackets come from behind me and put me in handcuffs and duct tape my mouth shut. I squirm and try to scream, but it just comes out muffled. They carry me out the back door, and James follows, looking at the ground.
They shove me into a van, and we drive only about ten minutes. When they pull me out, I see a very small building, in the middle of nowhere.
There are only two doors, and they're small enough that we all have to almost crawl through them. Once I get through the door, there are two rooms, glass on three sides, and a wall in between them, so we can't see into the other room.
There is a single metal chair in the center of the room, and Liam walks me over to the chair and sits me down on it. He straps me up and makes it a hell of a lot harder for my rescuer then he usually does. I just hope this time Harry comes a little sooner.
He'll find me, right? He always finds me.
Once Liam is done, he places a kiss to my neck and stands up. I cringe.
"So, unfortunately, this is where you are going to die. There is a bomb under your seat, and also under the chair in the next room. By the time they go off, we will be long gone. Now, Harry-boy has a hard choice to make. There are two women he loves in this building, two bombs, but only one Harry. Hm, I wonder once he hears his Mom is alive and kicking, which one of you he will pick?" Liam says dauntingly.
