So if you have read the last chapter, you know now that Kristen's mom was raped.
I know she didn't deal with it with as much emotion as she probably should have, and it will be brought up again at a later time.
Kristen has a lot going on in her head, and in the next chapter you will see the extent of that.
Her mom was used as somewhat as a forced prostitute, and she's at peace with it, if you will, and she's faced it.
Plus those guys literally burned so... revenge?
Anyway, I just wanted you all to know her reaction to tragedy is not exactly on point all the time, and I'm still finding my way as a writer to put as much reality and truth as I can in a fanfic.
