Chapter 53 : Always be there for you.

Leo felt tired of the amount of paper work he needs to handle. Most of the time the break he took was for lunch. It felt as if his eyes were on fire. Once he was done eating, he went back to work. He saw Zara walk in after sometime, to get his signatures. He could see that she was a little disturbed. " What happened ? " Zara looked at him not knowing what to say. " You look a little disturbed. Did something happen ? " Zara hesitated a little. " Sir, the thing is..... " 

During the lunch time, Kayla walked into the cafeteria. She heard an employee who was sitting on a table with a few more employees, speaking about her. " I heard that she is here, because of the connections. It looks like she is not good at the work too ". Kayla smirked. If it was any other place she wouldn't have said anything. But she joined here was only to cause trouble. So she walked to the counter and brought food and a drink. She put her food on a table and walked to the employee who spoke about her. 

Kayla tapped her shoulder. She turned around and stood up. " What is it ? " Kayla sighed. " What did you say about me ? " The female employee smirked. " Why ? Is it not the truth ? " Kayla chuckled lowly and poured the drink over the employee's head. The female employee was shocked. " Did you even see me work or do you know about me ? Who gave you right to speak about me behind my back ?! " The employee took deep breaths and stomped away wiping her tears. Kayla went to the table she put her food on and sat down. She ate like nothing happened at all. 

" This is what happened sir ". Leo couldn't help but clench his teeth. She was causing trouble on purpose. " Inform her that this kind of behavior is not encouraged. Ask her to apologize and if it repeats, action will be taken ". " Yes sir. I will make sure to let her know ". Leo handed the file back and Zara walked out. Leo sat back in his chair and fell in thought. He didn't really know what Kayla was gaining by working here. He had his doubts but still couldn't confirm any of them. He went back to work as he got no time to waste.

Ken was walking along with Luke to the elevator to leave for the day. " I have something to tell you ". Luke turned to Ken. " What happened ? " Ken told everything that happened at Leo's office. Luke couldn't help but feel agitated. " What is it with her ? " Luke felt like steam was coming out of his ears. They looked at each other and sighed. " She is going around looking for trouble ". Luke nodded. " Do you think it is possible to speed up things ? " Ken thought for a second. " I think I can try it. But for a few consequences, we have to face them ". Luke nodded. " Don't worry. I will take care of it ". 

Ken nodded. Luke walked to his car and Ken to his. Luke was wondering about Leo's situation, he might be disturbed because of all the ruckus at the office. So, he stopped by at a flower shop to buy a rose. He bought a red one. He went home and rang the bell. Leo wondered about the person who might be ringing the bell. There is not really anyone who pays a visit. He opened the door and saw Luke standing with a rose. Leo was surprised and shook his head. " What are you doing ? " Leo asked with a hint of smile in his tone. " Here, this is for you ". 

Luke handed the flower. Leo took it and stepped aside letting Luke enter. " Anything special ? " " I just wanted to give it to you. Should there be an occasion for me giving a rose to my lil' meow meow ? " Leo giggled and walked to the couch with Luke behind him. " I didn't mean it like that ". Leo turned around and felt a push. He squealed at the sudden force. He fell on the couch and Luke got on top of him. " W-what are you doing ? " Leo yelled and his eyes were shaking. 

" Since you like the one I gave you, why don't you give me something in return ? " Leo could see the mischief in Luke's eyes and his eyes went wide. " Luke, get off me ". Leo pushed Luke, but he didn't move. Luke held Leo's hands on either side of his head, without letting him squirm. " What are you doing ? " Luke bent down and kissed his lips. Leo tried to resist but he couldn't control his mind anymore.
