Chapter 27 : Showing off to friends.

Third person point of view

Leo didn't know what is wrong though. How is it that they always end up like that every single morning ? Or was Luke doing it deliberately ? He wondered if it might be true. But it doesn't look like it, because Luke was a very deep sleeper. Even if they didn't live together for that long, he could tell that much for sure. He wouldn't really wake up that easily. Even if Luke does it, he would know it when being turned around. So that is not possible. He pushed the thought aside. He thought that it is something he might never get used to. Dwelling over it is taking him nowhere.

But then there is something Leo didn't know. Luke was awake before him. He saw the position they were in. He was a bit shocked too. But then he didn't mind and smiled at the sleeping face in front of him. He closed his eyes again and went to sleep. He wondered how Leo would react when he finds out that Luke knew about it.

Leo's mother called him saying that there is going to be a family gathering. They are going to be there along with Luke's and his parents. He sighed at the thought. If he knew about it then Luke would have found out as well. And it was true. Luke heard that his father called for him. When he went to meet him, he found out about the meeting. He nodded and went to his room. Since it was on a Sunday, he was fine with it. He couldn't reject it anyway. He could only spoil his day if he argues with his father. 

Luke felt his phone vibrating too much while working. He saw Ken send him a message to check the group or else the server might go down. So he checked the messages in the group chat. There were so many that he didn't even read all of them. So the reason behind the group bursting with messages was that, they were complaining that he didn't let them meet Leo and also didn't even hold a party later. He could only shake his head with a smile. 

When he gave a reply they all made a big deal saying that he finally appeared. He texted Leo asking if he is free on the Saturday evening. When Leo answered that he was, he asked him to go to the party. Leo thought for a second and accepted it. Luke then told his friends to meet up on the Saturday. They all cheered and were happy that he finally invited them. They met at the same hotel most of the time, so he told that it is going to be the same.

Leo saw Luke walk in and sit beside him. Luke saw Leo sitting on the couch watching television, eating snacks. He sat beside him. " You found out too ? " Leo was the first to ask. Luke nodded. Leo sighed and saw Luke. " Want some ? " Luke was about to shake his head no, but he saw Leo pick it up for him from the pack and put it in front of his mouth. " Your hands are dirty ". Luke ate it and smiled. " Thank you ". Leo turned to the television. Luke observed Leo's side profile and then turned to the television with a smile.

" Why this sudden party ? " " For my friends. They have been complaining that I didn't let you meet them. So I had to comply to their request and hold that party ". Leo nodded understanding. " Come home a little early on that day. We will leave from home ". Leo nodded. " Alright ".

On Saturday

Leo came home at the same time as Luke. Luke went to take a shower first and then went down to sit on the couch while waiting for Leo. He was dressed in a dark blue shirt and black jeans. It was simple and elegant. He heard the footsteps and looked up. He saw Leo walk down in a light blue shirt which was in a French tuck in white jeans. His hair was also beautifully styled. Luke felt that his eyes would go blind at how bright Leo was looking right now. Leo stood in front of Luke and was confused at the stare. He snapped his fingers in front of Luke's face and Luke came out of the trance. 

" What happened ? Do I look overly dressed ? " " Huh ? No, no. You are looking good. It's nice. Let's go ". It was indeed good. So good that, Luke thought that people might hit on Leo. He just walked ahead without saying anything. The hotel they always went was not so near. It took them some quality time to reach it because of the distance and also the traffic. Leo entered the elevator along with Luke. Most of his friends were rich, so they always booked a private room for themselves whenever they met. Leo took a deep breath as he went out of the elevator. He saw Luke stop in his tracks. 

" If I am not wrong, Kayla is going to be there too. So don't mind it if I act a little touchy or something like that. Okay ? " Leo knew that he has to go along with the act. He gave his word to help Luke anyway, so he nodded. Luke took Leo's hand in his as he walked to the door. He entered to find his friends who were all there before them. They all cheered as soon as they entered. Leo stood a step behind Luke. " Hi guys. It is nice to see you all. It has been a while ". Luke laughed along with all of them. " Since you were all whining about it I couldn't help but do this ". He pulled Leo to stand beside him. 

All of them cheered when they saw Leo. Leo could feel his face and ears getting red. " So here he is. Leo. Happy now ? " All of them clapped and hooted. Luke took his hand and they sat on the couch. He introduced Leo to all of his friends and his friends to Leo. Ken was also there and then there was Kayla too. Leo greeted everyone with a smile. " You are so handsome ". One of Luke's friend complimented Leo. He politely smiled and said a thank you. They kept teasing them as well. " We always thought that you will be the last to ever get married ". All of them agreed with the statement. Luke could only shake his head. 

Leo laughed along with the others. " You believe them ? " Leo nodded. " Of course I will ". All of them laughed at it. Luke could only smile.
