Valentine's day special

Playcap reporting for duty!

I honestly couldn't decide a ship to do, but I narrowed it down to one of my OTPs, since they're the most prominent I think about on a daily basis.

I wrote this in a day.

Didn't do too well.

It's a bit shitty.

And I've definitely reflected myself onto it. Because I'm narcissistic. Ish.

And Aul 15 doesn't exist. Because it isn't a game in my 'Au,' and since a virus wouldn't work in it, it didn't happen.

And generally anything game related just happened in it's own way.

It was Valentine's day, and the Skeld was buzzing with excitement.

Couples giggling in the cafeteria as they ate dinner in candlelight. It was going perfectly.

Captain had given the couples a chance to spend a lovely date together, and the crew had jumped in the opportunity. Those who didn't have a date however... They had to carry on doing tasks, while consecutively completing the tasks of those who were having an exclusive dinner.

And now we pan over to Player and Veteran, doing their tasks in the reactor-

"Aaaaaaand done!" Veteran beamed as he completed opening the reactor manifolds. "Now we just need to finish the tasks in weapons and we're done for the day!"

"Yep..." Player let out a sigh of relief.  "Then we can just go play games."

The two exited the reactor and began making their way to weapons, when Veteran decided to strike up conversation.

"Hey... Player? You ever been asked out on Valentine's day?"

Player gave a confused look. "Well... No. I've been asked out, but that wasn't as a Valentine. Why do you ask?"

"Not sure really. Just a conversation topic, given that it is the day."

"Well, if you're looking for something to talk about, I've actually been considering asking someone out myself..."

Veteran gave a deadpan look. "Listen Player. If it's me, it's a straight up no. Sorry-"

"No Vet, it's not you. We're best friends, and I think that suits us. It's someone else..." Player gave a small blush

"Talking about love are we?"

The two snapped their gaze over to Mr Egg, who was leaning against the storage trash chute.

"What do you want Mr Egg? Here to gloat?" Veteran growled.

"What would I gloat about? I'm indefinitely lonely this Valentine's day, but I can't help notice you are too." The pink bean said with a smirk.

"Shut up Mr Egg" Player said with groan. "We're talking about love. And that's something you obviously know nothing about."

"Really? I'd like to bet that I can figure out who you are planning on asking out."

Veteran gave a glance to Player, then to Mr Egg. "Well go on then."

"Well, its obviously nobody in the cafeteria, since I'm fairly certain you are not complete bitch. That narrows it down to Me, Veteran, Sir Clogsworth, Captain, Mother, Bro, Goober, Ninja, PF and Stoner."
