I feel like a load of creativity and work went into this episode, and it really gave me he vibes of how aul was when it first started.
And btw, I've been into it since aul 1.
And I'm proud.
I knew it was Veteran ever since noticed that he went to the Y intersection, but said he was in reactor doing tasks like Player told him to do. But still.
This is definitely leading up to a valentine's day special where Player gets a boyfriend. Or a girlfriend. Preferably not a girlfriend, but still.
The Gentlecheese was adorable, and TheGentleman trying to be a normal boyfriend was bloody hilarious-
And I honestly thought they had toilet paper wrapped around them when I first saw them running around like that. It was so fucking cute thoughhhhhh-
Also, TheGentleman calling it a "GF" genuinely made me cringe and love it at the same time.
I'm pretty sad that Captain wasn't there. Like, Gametoons better not make him a side character. If they do that, I don't think a script writer may make it out alive. He's ultimately my favourite character, and he totally deserves to stay.
Anyway
ART.

I've actually held off from drawing TheGentleman for... ages. Mostly because I fucking hate drawing his top hats. But, I think I did a good job here. What do you think?
Okay, so. You know how I said I've been into it since aul 1?
Well, on December 1st, I made my first piece of fanart. It wa crappy. It was a complete dump. But I liked it. And it was Gentlecheese.
So, when the Discord said to make Gentlecheese, I immediately thought of it.
So, why not do a before/after?
So, my first ever piece of digital aul fanart-

So, thoughts.
The old one is... Really bad.
The outlines are harsh, the reflection on the visor is outlined, I couldn't draw hands to save my life, and I used the oval tool for their bodies.
And it was drawn with my finger, on my phone.
Now, I'd say I've improved so much!
The outlines are softer, they actually have hands, the shadows aren't shit and their legs aren't whack.
And now I have an iPad and apple pencil to draw with-
I dont mean to blow my own trumpet, but I have improved. Loads.
Yeah, sure, I was terrible at digital art, and I was better at traditional art, but now I'd say I'm going to focus on digital.
Okay, Wattpad specific doodle!

An overly glorified sketch of Veteran.
And yes, my sketches look like this.
I'm wondering, would you lpt be interested in seeing the sketches? I keep most of them, so I'd be happy to share.
And most of them look like shit-
But they end up fine in the end-
It like a story of my life. Looked shit at the start, looked less shit at the end.
And I'm not even dead yet. Plenty of room for improvement! Or failure, but we try not to talk about that here-
