*I promise the next chapter will be Steve's POV. I'm exited to be writing from his POV again. He's a fun character to write.*

Three weeks had passed. Steve and I avoided each other.  Wanda and Vision had moved out and me and the others helped them move since no mission came up. Convenient, I know.
They moved into this cute mid-century house with a little garden up front. It was extremely idyllic and perfect for the two of them. They seemed so happy. Content even. Oh, to be part of a happy couple, I guess. The move took roughly a week with all of us helping.

I am currently in my office though and with Wanda gone it was a lot quieter in the compound. Me, her and Nat had formed a strong bond over the past month I worked here. Our trio always ended up doing some shenanigans that had to do either with us waisted or the boys of the team. Always getting on their nerves to be honest. But it was the best time. Nat and the others had a mission to attend in Lagos. Wanda and Vis stayed out of that one though. And Tony did too. He was determined to help, well force, me move to the compound during their mission.

'So, (Y/N) you ready to go to your apartment? Oh and we could hit IKEA if you want? I am so exited Tiny. This is going to be so fun. We can throw a welcome-party in your honor. Uuuuh why don't we do that? Let's say maybe this Saturday? I'm sure the- ....'

He was really exited and at some point I just shut him out of my head. He was giving me a headache. I didn't realize how much paperwork came with working for the Avengers. These people had way to much shit going on for their own good. If you ever asked yourself who handles all the broken down properties and other shit they break and have to pay for somehow. Well you found your person. I do. It is frustrating to say the least.

'Tony can you please shut up for just a second?'

'Sorry. I guess I'm just exited my cousin will move in with me since she's one of my favorite little humans on this earth.'

I gave in. Believe me you would too, with that grin he was throwing my way.

'Okay then, dumbass. I have to finish some paperwork but after that we can go.'

We did as I said. An hour later we were on our way to my apartment. A moving truck cousin dearest had hired was following us. The movers where already there the day before. We got to my former home and the only thing left to pack up was my kitchen. We decided we could tackle a room by ourselves so we told the movers to just start unpacking at the compound.

After almost the whole day was over, me and Tony finished packing the last few items from my kitchen.
Tony was wrapping up some cups and I was cleaning the stove top.

'Hey, you want some Pizza (Y/N)?'

'Sure, let me finish this up and I'll order us some.'

What was said, was done and now we were sitting on the floor. Munching on some Pepperoni Pizza and drinking some beers. Tony drank his last sip and contently rubbed his filled up belly.

'Tiny. I'm happy you decided to move in with us all. I know you where hesitant because of Steve but I'm positive you will come around to liking each other. Don't you think?'

'I'm happy too. I still am hesitant because of him but you know we talked. It's just this constant love-hate thing between us I don't understand.'

'I have a feeling I know what that feeling is but I'll leave it to you guys to figure that one out. Come on Tiny, let's go to your new home.'

As we spoke we went towards my front door. With one last look I left my apartment and my former life behind.

Back at the compound we went straight to my new floor.
Steve wasn't there since all the others where on a mission that came up after Wandas move. The movers had left the boxes in the hallway which was huge so we could still walk over to the apartment.
It was beautiful. You leave the lift and stand in the hallway. If you stare straight ahead you look directly into a huge kitchen with a gigantic white island with black bar stools tucked under it. Besides it was a beautiful white kitchen and next to it a giant fridge with those fancy ice-cube dispensers.
When you turned towards the island you could see  4 doors.

'Okay Tiny, so. You see the door farthest from us? Thats the pantry. Next to it is a shared bathroom which has a huge shower by the way. We renovated that last year. Next to the bathroom is Steves room and the last room is yours. Steves room is a little smaller then yours since Wanda and Vis needed a little more space as they where 2 people in one room. Don't be shy. Open the door.'

I hesitantly looked at him before walking toward the door leading to my room. As I open the door a giant room reveals itself. It was legitimately bigger then my whole apartment back in downtown.
There was a lounge area with a cute rust colored couch Wanda and Vis probably left behind and in front of it was a poof as big as myself which acted as a coffee table. Opposite from the couch was a big flat screen on a TV-stand which had enough free space for me to put my PS4 and N64 on it.
Behind the lounge area was the, what I assumed, bedroom area that was still bare.

I decided to put my old furniture and decor in. Tony helped me and two days after we where completely done with my room. I still had some kitchen-stuff to put away but I could do that alone since it was only a. few basics.
I was lounging in the living room after my deed was done when F.R.I.D.A.Y's voice made me jump.

'Miss Young, sorry for the interruption. Mr. Stark told me to inform you that the team will arrive from their mission in a few hours. He wants you to be ready for a welcome home party at 8pm.'

'Thank you F.R.I.D.A.Y I will be ready then. Do you know 'when the team will arrive exactly?'

'Yes, Miss. They will be here in approximately 3 hours.'

I let out a sigh. Tony really was fast with organizing parties. It was exhausting, really. I decided 3 hours was a long time so I wanted to take a bath and enjoy my last hours alone on my floor of the compound.
I was about to step into the bathtub when I heard a loud *ping* from my phone, signaling that I had received a text. Picking it up I look at my phone to read it.

'Just heard you're my new roommate. Why am I hearing of this just now? And not from you?'

It was from Steve. I thought he knew. Fuckin' Tony. I decided to text him back.

'Sorry. thought you knew. Hope ur okay with it still.'

A few moments passed, I was leaning on the bathtub, naked, waiting for his answer. It was weird texting him since we had been ignoring each other since our last conversation in the secret wing. I didn't know how to at around him since I still had this weird feeling as soon as he was near me. It was like a highly raised feeling of annoyance. Like only his voice was too much for me, yet I couldn't feel anything but safe next to him. It was truly weird. I decided I waited enough and stepped into the bathtub before submerging my body completely in the warm, florally smelling bathwater, leaving my hair open, hanging from the edge of the tub.
Hours passed before I decided I was dangerously near becoming a human prune. I stepped out of the bathroom wrapped in a large towel, covering not much of myself. I had gotten sleepy and my mind began to wander, not noticing a figure sitting at the kitchen island, looking at me. It startled me when I heard a voice call out my name, almost dropping my towel.

'Jesus fucking christ! Steve! When did you guys get here?!'

'Sorry to startle you, I thought F.R.I.D.A.Y told you we where coming home today.'

He looked disheveled and worn out, which indicated the mission had been rough.

'She did. But I thought she told me 3 hours tops.'

'It is 6:30pm (Y/N).'

Well, shit. I had been taking a bath for the last 2 and a half hours. That explains a lot. I slowly realized that I'm just wearing a towel that covered the absolute minimum. Steve did too, his eyes began to wander.

'Um, Steve could you... maybe turn around?'

His eyes met mine before he cleared his throat and quickly turned around.
'You should start getting ready. Tony's throwing a party.'

'I know I was about to take a shower. Are you done in there?'

Steve pointed back to the bathroom without turning towards me.

'Yes. I'm done. See you later Rogers.'

With that, I literally sprinted towards my room and closed the door behind me, leaning against it for a moment so I could calm myself down. After that I decided to get ready for Tonys party.
