Hi guys! first of all thank you for your time to read my little story. This chapter is a short one as I have been working full time recencly. I hope it is still an okay chapter tho. Enjoy!

'What? It's the only seat that was left.', I whispered after starting the movie.
He let me alone, which was weird, I thought he'd start an argument. Some time passed and half way through the movie I got up and got some Chardonnay for me, Pepper and Natasha. We finished the new Mulan movie and were moving on to the old ones since we weren't tired.
I'm not gonna lie, Pepper got tipsy after a glass and me and Nat had to finish the whole bottle ourselves, which we didn't mind.
It was getting late after the old Mulan though and Pepper had to catch a flight at 3am so she and Tony decided to go to bed.
All the others stayed and we went on to some other movie we let Bucky choose. It was close to 2am and I started to get also really tired but the night was so fun I didn't want to end it. Yes, I said it was fun even if Steve didn't partake in any conversation or banter we others got into. He was starting to freak me out a little, to be honest.

As we watched the 3rd movie of the night though I felt myself getting sleepy, and eventually I fell asleep leaning on Steves shoulder.

I didn't remember how I got into my office and onto the pull-out sofa but I did and I woke up at 7:30am the next day.
As I got up I tried remembering what had happened. I know I didn't leave the couch on my own but who brought me up here then? Was it Nat? She certainly has the strength, if you ask me. Or maybe Bucky did. He's a super-soldier after all.

Or maybe...? No. Steve would never. ...Right?

After leaving my office I went into the shared bathrooms and washed up, put on training clothes and went down to the kitchen to get some coffee and a water for my training session with the captain later.
In the kitchen I am met with Bucky and Steve eating breakfast. I didn't know where the others were.

'Morning guys.' I grumbled and picked up a coffee mug from the cupboard. Bucky smiled at me before responding, Steve stayed silent though. He was starting to piss me off.

'Good morning (Y/N), did you sleep well?'

'I did, yes. Do you, by any chance, know how I got to my office? I only remember getting sleepy but after that: nothing. I know Nat and me drank some wine but it couldn't have been that much right?'

Steve stirred in his seat and cleared his throat before speaking.

'You fell asleep on my shoulder and I- well the others, didn't want to wake you so I carried you to your office. I hope that was okay?'

I haltered in my movement. So Steve did bring me to my room... Who would have thought...

'Sure. That is okay. I'll take a detour to the office before I head to the gym. Enjoy your breakfast guys.'

I felt weird. This whole situation was weird. This guy is weird. I don't know how to handle the situation to be frank. First we fight with each other, then practically want to jump each other but then he ignores me BUT THEN he carries me into my bed and tucks me in. His behavior is giving me whiplash.

As I entered my office I was still thinking about Steve and his different attitudes towards me. I didn't even register that someone was in there before me. I look up to see a dark-skinned, handsome looking man with the most precious smile.

'Hi! Sorry to startle you, I'm Sam Wilson or Falcon, you can choose. Vision sent me here and said I can give you all my appointments?'

'Nice to meet you Sam I'm (Y/N) Young. You can call me (Y/N). What appointments?'

'Well me and Barnes do voluntary work and those appointments aren't automatically added so I'm here to bring them to you.'

'Okay then. You can give them to me and I will immediately add the appointments in the schedule.'

'Thank you so much. So how do you like it here so far (Y/N)? I heard you guys did had a movie night yesterday.'

'I love it here, honestly. My office is huge, the paycheck is huge and people are polite as ever. ...Well,... most of them anyways.'

My thoughts went to the Captain, who had been behaving strangely since our encounter in my office. I had to go train with him in less then 5 minutes, which meant giving up the facade I had built up and show that I am not what he believes me to be. I don't know if I am ready to do that.

'I'm sorry Sam, I didn't look at the time. I need to leave. The Captain's waiting to train with me for today. But I'll catch you around, yes?'

'Okay then, don't hurt him too much. He's a sore looser our old man.'

As I giggle at Sams joke I make my way to the gym to face Steve.
