The next few chapters will only be in (Y/N) POV since we are now slowly going into infinity war and endgame

The next few days had been difficult. There was never a perfect moment to tell Tony. While the others had already been informed about Steve and I's relationship (they were all thrilled btw), Tony seemed always to be too stressed or too in his own little pregnancy world to get a hold of. So Steve and I had decided today would be the day. It was my birthday after all so he can't get too mad at me. Right?

'Hey Sweetheart I just invited everyone up to our place. They'll be here in two hours. Have you gotten a hold of Pepper?'

'Yeah, she should get here with Tony in around 30 minutes. How do I look? Do I radiate confidence, 'cause I sure need it.'

Steve came over and hugged me, pressing my head into the nape of his neck. I took a deep breath to calm myself. Really, I hoped I was making it a much bigger deal than it will actually be to finally tell Tony. Tony was always a little unpredictable in topics involving his family and friends and he's always been a little protective over me. He had seen how Steve and I became friends over the time so maybe he'll understand after all.
I had just let go of Steve after he had given me a little kiss on the forehead as the lift doors opened.

'Tiny we're here! Where is the birthday girl?'

Tony was in an ecstatic mood. Good.

'We are in the living room, come in!'

Pepper and him made their way over and sat themselves on the couch. Tony had my gift in his hand and Peppers hand in the other.

'So, how come you guys aren't fighting and where the hell are the others? Are they really going to be late for your first birthday in the compound?'

I let out a laugh as I knew Tony was likely ready to party like crazy and excited about a little break from work. Somehow my nerves had calmed after seeing him and his fiancé so I decided to just tell him.

'Tony I need to tell you about something. This is going to be shocking, maybe, but believe me I am more than happy with my decision.'

I sat down next to Steve as he reached for my hand, taking it in his and covering it with the other, just to reassure me. Tony followed my every step and Pepper did the same Steve did to keep Tony in check. His expression changed from confused to realization to anger and then to something I couldn't quite place.

'Tony, me and Steve...We-'

'I don't think so. No.'

His answer had made me stop from finishing my sentence. The anger had returned in his eyes and I knew he couldn't accept the fact that his cousin was with his team mate. Steve had been quiet but now he couldn't just watch anymore but Tony was fuming.

'Stark, please let me explain this to you.'

'Hell to the no, Rogers you can't be serious, you are a 100-year-old-WW2-Super-soldier-Captain DATING a 26 year old! That is my fucking cousin by the way! You can't be serious?!'

'Technically, if you ignore the being in ice part, I am a solid 28. I don't see the problem.'

A single tear left my eye. I knew Tony wouldn't approve. Even being the strong self that I am I value Tonys opinion. He has been there while I grew up and became what I am now. Still, his reaction hurt, because once I realized how much Steve really means to me I full one decided to commit or at least try my best to make it work.

'Tony, please listen to what (Y/N) has to say. Give it a chance. You haven't seen how they act around each other and-'

'So you knew? You could have said something you know?'

Pepper gave him one of her judging looks.

'It is not my place to tell their story. I wouldn't have told you either if I were them, considering how you are reacting.'

Tony went quiet and then let out a deep breath.

'You have both 5 minutes to tell me how the hell this happened.'

And so we did. We told him about our fights, the mission, the night (which was kind of weird), the time after the mission and how Steve finally had confessed a few days ago how he felt about us.
I saw how hesitant Tony was at first but as we had spoken about everything and then went on to celebrate my first birthday in the compound with the others, he eventually came around. He still hated how Steve held me or gave me kisses here and there, which he vocalized with an obscene puking noise, but it's okay. At least he accepts my choice. The next few days went pretty much the same: We spent some time together besides the constant training and enjoyed some time off before the next mission comes up, we talk, we laugh and we go on double dates with Nat and Buck. Everything went well and the world was at peace.
