*(Y/N)'s POV*

We got settled into our rooms pretty quickly and immediately proceeded to Shuris mountain lab where she instructed Vision to lay down on her table. We didn't want to waste any time so she started straight away, hovering her hand, that was adorned with kimoyo beads, over his head and body. Scanning him with a blue laser and as she opens her hand a 3D-Diagram of the Mind Stone that was embedded in Vis's head, appears.

'The structure is polymorphic.'

Shuri seemed exited and stunned all the same whereas all the others, well excluding Bruce, understood nothing but the word structure. Bruce straightened his glasses as he began speaking.

'Right, we had to attach each neuron non-sequentially.'

'Why didn't you just reprogram the synapses to work collectively?'

Now it was Bruces turn to look stunned. He thought about it but couldn't seem to come up with an answer.

'Because we didn't think of it-'

'Well, I'm sure you did your best.'

Wanda cut in now asking Shuri if she could do get the stone out of Vis's head. She sighed.

'Yes, but there are more than two trillion neurons here. One misalignment could cause a cascade of circuit failures. It will take time, brother.'

Now it was my turn to cut in. We didn't have much time, those ships could come in any minute.

'How long?'

'As long as you can give me.I can show Dr. Banner how to work the beads so he can help it will cut the time in half.'
I nodded, as did Steve and the others so Shuri and Bruce began working as we others got to see some weapons and shields T'challa had asked Shuri to design while they waited for us to get there. So as no one had anything better to do than wait, we decided it was best to stay near Vision to ensure his safety while he was getting...well...surgery?

Two hours passed and Bruce and Shuri where getting super close to being done, some of us checked perimeters and others just stood there, waiting. That was the hardest part. Waiting for the fight to get to us, waiting for freaking aliens to attack such a normally peaceful place. Bucky had told us about his time here, what he did to prepare and train while he also prepared Wakanda for whats to come. T'challa showed us around the place so we could get the most orientation possible. And then there was Wanda. Something inside her seemed to boil almost over. Her magic glowed from her hands without her noticing, but maybe that was the Stone that demanded to be left alone, calling her and communicating to her like that.

'Almost done. Roughly 60 strings left. Give us 5 minutes.'

Just as Bruce finished speaking Okoyes Kimoyo beads started trilling, as did the alarms. Okoye opens her hand, like Shuri did earlier, and a 3D projection of the earth with a ship hovering above it appears.

'Something's entered the atmosphere.', Okoye said.

'Almost, almost, almost,...Common we are nearly done!'
