"When are you finishing work today?"

I was scribbling on my iPad, making a list of things to check tonight when I get back to the hotel when Chanel asked from the sofa area, making me turn to her.

"About maybe 6PM. Why?"

She pouted her lips before checking her phone and then whined that there's still 3 hours left and that she's bored.

I chuckled at her, apologizing that I still have a lot of work to do and that it's always busy in the middle of the year when I always do a half year annual check on the hotels.

"It's fine."

She grumbled, still pouting while sipping onto the coffee when suddenly I remembered something I have been wanting to ask her.

"What's the deal with you and Kim Taehyung?"

I asked nonchalantly without looking at her but I unnoticeably shifted my eyes to her without turning my head to see that she has tensed suddenly but then composed herself, which made me smirk.

"What do you mean?"

She asked coughing a bit and I tried to hide my smile by pursing my lips and continued to act as if I didn't notice and look through my iPad.

"I mean, when we were in front of the salon, he said that you guys are meeting again. Also he asked you for a dance during BigHit's 20th Year Anniversary. I'm just curious."

I continued explaining and spared a glance at Chanel to see her fiddling with her nails, a habit she does when she's nervous and I finally placed the Apple Pencil down before connecting my hands on the desk and staring dead at her.

"Chanel Park......."

I voiced out warily and narrowed my eyes at her as she was staring at me nervously while biting her lips and suddenly she burst out in a wail, flinging her hands up.

I flinched a bit at her outburst before staring at her shocked.

"Ya, what the hell?"

I uttered before she slowly calmed herself down by breathing in and out then turning to look at me while I had my eyebrows raised at her.

"I'm dating Kim Taehyung."

I gaped at what she just declared, my mouth opening and closing without saying a word while my brain was wrapping around the information she just dropped.

"And you only decide to tell me when I pry?"

I asked disappointed while she immediately stood up and clasped her hands giving me that guilty look, knowing that she had kept something from me.

"I just.... I didn't think it would happen and I was still trying to convince myself that it was true because this was something I never thought would ever come true."

She started blabbering and explaining while pacing around my office as I started being amused at how restless she looks before I stood up to walk towards her and then grabbed her arms so that she would stop.

"Congratulations Chanel."

I said sincerely with a bright smile, making her burst out into a smile and we embraced each other as my bestfriend has finally found true love with her long time celebrity crush.

"Thank you Adrianna. You're not mad?"

She asked in sorrow that she kept this from me while I chuckled and shook my head to reassure her.
