I waited with my arms crossed, staring at him taking in a huge breath before shakily letting it out, making my eyebrows furrowed at how he's looking nervous.
"Adrianna, I wish you could notice how I feel about you."
He stated while staring into my eyes and I felt my heart starting to beat hardly in my chest, as his eyes showed nothing but sincerity in them.
I didn't respond, and he sighed again while my eyes softened seeing him look so desperate.
"I love you Adrianna Lee."
He suddenly confessed and my eyes widened, my breath hitching and my heart beating rapidly by that moment, as I stared at his serious face.
"I don't belie—"
"I've loved you since two years ago Adrianna."
That made me shut up as I stared at him surprised by the sudden information when he stood up and walked slowly towards me, my arms slowly untangling themselves and loosely falling onto my lap.
He kneeled in front of me and held my hands, bringing them to place them on his chest where his heart laid and I gasped when I felt how fast it was beating.
"I met you two years ago princess."
He stated and I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion, not remembering meeting him before I arrived in Seoul. Moreover, he was enlisted into the military two years ago.
"I know..... it sounds unbelievable but I met you in my dreams."
He spoke making me gasp a bit, when I heard what he said and soon, tears started brimming in my eyes.
"Every night princess, I met you. I saw your face, your eyes and especially your smile. Haunting me every night and whenever I woke up......"
He paused while my lips were quivering with what he was telling me as the tears soon fall down my face. Then he pressed my hands harder against his chest.
"....... my heart aches. Painfully. After realizing that I could only ever see you in my dream. I thought you didn't exist and that makes it all the more painful."
He voiced out painfully, his eyes filled with agony while I choked out a tear, seeing how broken he look.
"However, I met you one day, and I couldn't believe my eyes. You didn't seem to recognize me, however I remembered your big doe eyes, staring right at me while I just stared at you in disbelief. I should've said something then, however I was too shocked from actually seeing you in real life that I lost my chance to talk to you as you just took your cardholder and walked away."
My eyebrows furrowed a bit at what he said, not remembering our first meeting to be like that and he noticed before shaking his head.
"You didn't recognize me as I had my mask on, but our first meet was actually at a salon. You bumped into me and dropped your cardholder."
He clarified and my eyes widened, remembering that day and not believing that it was actually him that helped pick up my cardholder.
"When I saw you again at the alleyway in Myeong-dong, I was surprised again because I thought I was hallucinating you when I saw you at the salon."
He continued and I stared at how he spoke with admiration, still holding my hands tightly as he leaned in closer so that our faces were only a few inches apart.
"When I was sure you really exist, I knew I had to get to know you and I did and I fell even more deeply in love with you."
He stated with a smile, while my tears were still falling down my face and he soon let go of one of my hand to place them gently on my cheeks before wiping them away.
