ADRIANNA LEE's POV

11.08.2025

I sat on the sofa, overlooking the view from my hotel's window with my legs pulled up in front of my chest. My phone has been ringing nonstop, however, I didn't feel like picking it up.

I watched as his name pops up on the screen then disappear after a while, only to reappear again. I couldn't bring myself to answer it. I had nothing to say to him.

I checked the time on my phone screen when the ringing had stopped, noticing that it was already 12PM and I haven't eaten anything since last night, nor have I even had any ounce of sleep.

I sighed in exasperation, feeling pitiful for myself that, I at least decided to take a bath and change my clothes. I feel like a used rag that hasn't been washed for ages.

I grabbed my towel and headed inside the bathroom, efficiently cleaning up and also washing my hair then changing into some comfy pair of clothes and letting my hair down to dry.

I then decided that skipping my meals would not be beneficial for me since it effects my health whenever I'm stressed and it's partly also caused when I skip meals.

I grabbed my wallet, not bothering to bring my phone as I don't want to bother with it, before heading down the elevator and stopping at the receptionist, asking if there are any good restaurants nearby.

She instructed that if I walked out, turn left and continued walking, I would find a street with a lot of good places to eat. So I thanked her for her help before exiting the hotel, and walking exactly how she directed.

As she described, I found my way to a very busy street with many people buzzing about and a lot of delicious looking foods.

I stared at each of them, pondering which one to eat as my lack of appetite isn't helping me at the moment.

I was standing in front of one restaurant, looking at the menu when I felt a presence beside me, before a voice suddenly caught my attention.

"Adrianna?"

I turned towards the voice and met face to face with that familiar heart fluttering smile while his hand was pushing his hair back.

"Oh, Hyungwon."

I uttered softly with a small smile, making him frown a bit, noticing that I do not look the way I did yesterday when I met him, bright and cheerful.

"Are you here to have lunch?"

He proceeded to ask me and I just blinked at him before turning to look at what he was gesturing before slowly nodding my head.

"Kind of. I'm not really hungry so I was still browsing, hoping to find something I would like to eat."

I explained which made him purse his lips, being deep in thoughts before he grabbed my hand and pulled me somewhere while my legs moved quickly from the sudden pull.

"U-umm...."

I stuttered not knowing what to say as he gripped my hand strongly but not harshly, effectively pulling me behind him while I tattled along, trying to keep up with his long strides.

After walking past a few shops, he stopped in front of what seems to be a café and I stared at it confusedly before turning to him questionably.

He didn't say anything but just flashed me a smile before entering it, still holding my hand as I just followed him in confusion.

"Hello, can I get two Iced White Chocolate Mocha please and a cheesecake."

He ordered in front of the cashier which the lady clicked on the computer and told him how much it costed to which he paid for before being told that the order would be sent to him and to take a seat.
