I got out of the limo with Hyungwon's help and immediately the screams heightened as the flashes were even more intense while I linked my arm with his and walked down the red carpet towards the entrance.

"OMG, Hyungwon's got a date."

"She looks familiar!"

"OMG, that's Adrianna Lee!"

"The owner of The MCL."

I heard a lot of chatters while passing by a lot of screaming girls and we both smiled at all of them politely before entering the building and being escorted towards the private gala.

As soon as the double doors opened, we were greeted by an extravagant ballroom inside, already packed with a lot of familiar faces, and I guess this is as prestigious as their year end MAMA.

"Hyungwon!"

We turned towards a voice and saw MONSTA X huddled up at the sides, having already arrived, before we sauntered towards them, as they greeted me with a warm smile.

"Hey Adrianna. Nice to see you again."

Minhyuk greeted me to which I smiled at him in return.

"Way to swoop a date so fast Hyungwon."

Kihyun immediately started teasing Hyungwon and we all laughed while Hyungwon just glared at him.

I grabbed a glass of champagne from the waiter passing by and asked Hyungwon if he wanted one and he nodded before I handed him a glass before we turned towards the stage to see Super Junior Heechul.

Everyone chattered down and he smiled into the microphone before starting to welcome the guests and introduce this year's gala theme.

I took that chance to look around the ballroom, noticing every single idol and a few new rookies are in attendance, except BTS, and I realized they are currently on their World Tour.

I continued looking around and immediately caught a pair of dark eyes already staring intensely at me and I gulped with how heated it was.

He was wearing a dark 3 piece suit and he looked so handsome that I couldn't keep my eyes off of him that it hurts so bad not to be beside him.

He stared me down and his eyes skimmed down my body, making me feel goosebumps at how he was staring at me, almost as if he was scorching me with his heated stare.

Then suddenly Lee Dabin went up to him and intertwined her arms around his which made him break our eye contact before staring at her and flashing her a smile.

My heart ached seeing how he was comfortable with her and the way they were smiling at each other is making me break slowly inside.

I looked away, not bearing to stare any longer, feeling as if it was ripping my heart to shreds. I looked up at Hyungwon who was already looking at me, with a worried frown.

I just flashed him a reassuring smile before we continued to listen to the speech given by Kim Heechul as we all laughed at how he was being entertaining.

Then suddenly, Leeteuk joined him on stage with his own microphone, holding up a cup of champagne. Everyone was quite intrigued to what he wanted to say.

"Tonight we have a special guest joining us. It was a surprise to us when she entered the doors and it is the first time someone as influential as her has attended this gala."
