YOON JEONGHAN's POV

16.01.2025

"Hyung, time to wake up. We have schedule today."

I groaned as I was ripped away from my sleep and especially my dream.

"Alright, I'm up."

I uttered softly towards Hoshi who woke me up and soon he left my room and I slowly sat up and winced when I felt that familiar aching in my chest.

Here it goes again.

I have been experiencing this for the past 2 years, ever since I went into military with my members. The aching of my heart occurs every morning when I wake up, after dreaming about her.

My nameless princess.

I don't know why, but she has been haunting me nightly in my dreams. Her face, her voice, her smile were all so prominent and vivid, it felt as if it was real.

However, no matter how hard I searched, I couldn't find her. I didn't even know her name. We talked in our dreams yet we never asked each other's name.

She looks half Korean and she's as beautiful as an angel herself. I can't seem to get my mind off of her. She is like an exquisite piece of art one would admire in a portrait.

I breathed in and out slowly, trying to lessen the pain and soon, it disappeared, as if it didn't occur in the first place.

The doctors said there is nothing wrong with me and I am perfectly healthy, therefore, I knew this wasn't something normal. There is no cure or solution to this.

It worries my members, whenever I have these aches but I assured them that I am okay, even though sometimes they don't believe me.

They all knew about my dreams and the mystery girl. The one that I have come to irrevocably love that there is no turning back.

However, is she even real?

"Ya guys, we should discuss what we should do for our 10 years anniversary."

S.coups spoke up as we were in our Pledis meeting room with some of the content directors. It is going to be our 10 years anniversary soon and we are planning for a comeback, finally as a whole group.

"We have 4 months to prepare, and I believe we should give this the best we have ever done. Carats have been waiting for us."

Seungkwan spoke which earned agreed nods from the rest of us and soon, ideas were chipped in and plans were made, schedules were drawn out.

Oh how I missed these.

I smiled together with my members as we reminisced our old and young days of being idols. Things have been quiet for SEVENTEEN for 2 years as the Korean members enlisted towards military together.

The foreign members took that time to fly back to their home country and spend some time with their families. Our whole group went on a hiatus, because we didn't see fit to promote without each other.

After 2 hours of constant planning and talking, we decided tomorrow, we would go to the shop and have our hair done for the comeback.

As we bid goodbye to the content directors, we decided to head towards Woozi's studio for some making of new songs.

17.01.2025

I was quiet on our ride to the salon as I remembered what I dreamt of last night.

She was sad. She was crying.

It was very painful to witness. It was as if she was trying to tell me something. The dream felt like a literal nightmare and it was shorter than normal.

I didn't see her smile or her eyes that used to shine so brightly whenever she sees me. It has always been something that I adored about her.

Her big doe sparkly eyes.

I can't shake off the pain in my chest from when I woke up. It was much more intense than ever. It felt like someone was tearing my chest open and squeezing the life out of my heart.

I can't help but think it's a sign.

The way she stared at me sadly and cried.

It felt as if she was......... trying to say goodbye.

The pain was still there even after we finally arrived at the shop and it has been 3 hours since I woke up. The pain had never been this intense and long before.

I managed to keep my face neutral while wearing my black mask, in order not to worry my members as we headed towards our private lounge.

Hair dyeing had always been a hassle and it takes quite a lot of time, especially since I'm going for a glossy red hair look.

We decided to have it done since morning, because heaven knows that we would only be out by late afternoon.

13 members are a hassle.

I tried to relax and get some rest, taking off my mask, while the lady attended to my hair and listened to my members making fun and cracking jokes, which I had missed.

We also listened to Joshua, Jun and The8's stories during the 2 years we were on break. They had a lot of fun with their families and they told us of their trips that they took and the times that they spent.

I was very happy for them and after spending 5 hours idly, I decided to stand up and stretch before walking towards the restroom, placing my black mask back on.

I was admiring my hair from the reflective glass walls that I didn't realize someone walking towards me before I bumped into the person, making the person drop something.

I noticed it was a girl with long black hair and she was staring down on the floor, to which I noticed that she must've dropped it when she bumped into me.

Before she could bend down to grab it, I reached for it first and stared at it for a while, holding it.

She stuttered out a thank you which sounded very cute and took the cardholder from me, when only then, did I looked up and met her eyes.

The doe sparkly eyes were staring back at me as I stared at her more and soon my eyes enlarged when I realized who she was.

My nameless princess.

She was staring at me a bit confused while I stood frozen, staring at her.

I didn't resonate what she said and soon she walked away while I was still standing there, shocked that I just saw her. The girl from my dreams.

"Hyung?"

I snapped out of it when I felt a hand on my shoulder and I turned around to see The8 staring at me with furrowed eyebrows and a concerned face.

"Oh 8-sa..."

"Hyung are you okay?"

I didn't answer and just turned towards the direction she walked away.

"Hyung?"

I turned back towards him with confusion written on my face before finally answering.

"I don't know."
