I stretched on the bed, roaming my hand around the other side of the bed for her warm body but found it empty which had me slowly blinking my eyes open to search for her.

I looked around the room but she was nowhere in sight, until I heard the faucet running in the bathroom, making me smile before swiftly getting up and opening the door to the bathroom, not even bothering to put on pants.
