The following day, Valencia was finding it hard without Kurtz by her side, not being able to even glance at him in the halls afraid to raise suspicion. However, Jughead was still was mad at Valencia for her previous actions and was finding it hard to trust her, so after a Serpent gathering, he asked the young girl to stay behind.
"Look Val, we need to know if we can trust you." The girl furrowed her brows.
"What?" She asked quietly.
"You're going to have to prove it."
"Is my word not good enough for you?!"
Val questioned getting irritated.
"Not after your actions said the opposite." He fired back. The girl sighed in defeat,
"What do I need to do?"

"We are gathering evidence and are going to expose each Gargoyle member, meaning photographic evidence of their drug deals, associations, plans, names, faces, anything like that. Betty will help writing up an article expose, turning everyone against these people." Jughead knew this was a real test for the girl, but he needed her on their side. Nodding her head, the girl agreed. But this time she wasn't going to tell Kurtz, she couldn't for his sake.

The young girl wondered alone towards the neglected bus, ducking out of sight, hoping that Kurtz nor any of the other gargoyle members were there. Pulling out her phone to capture anything that could gain Jugheads trust, even if it was something minor. However, what she found was not minor at all.

Back at the school Jughead was discussing with Sweet Pea and Fang on how to stop the Gargoyles making more mess whilst they come up with the whole exposé.
"We need to find a way to stop Kurtz dealing these drugs before it spirals out of control." Jughead pitched. "I agree" Sweet Pea said clenching his fists whilst Fangs nodded in agreement.
"This time don't drag my sister into it." Sweets stated.
Jug sighed, "She will be the one collecting evidence against him, shes the only one of us who he likes so its best that way."
"Great so you have already involved her, I know they broke up but it doesn't mean she wont blow our cover." Sweet Pea replied sarcastically. Jug shook his head, "I only gave her that task so she would finally be able to see, with proof, that he is still a bad person." He assured. Fangs raised his brows,
"That makes sense actually."

Kurtz and the other Gargoyles occupied the small classroom, continuing their quest. He needed to find his princess, he needed her. He couldn't pretend to hate her without feeling the emotion of hatred. But all he felt for her was love. However, it was his devotion to the game which was getting in the way of his feelings, after the card he received last night, he couldn't keep his mind off it.

Valencia's eyes widened at the card in front of her. She had already managed to grab a few shots of incriminating evidence, enough to stop Jughead wining and enough to get him to trust her again. The sole of her foot tapped against the dirty floor contemplating what to do with the card she had stumbled upon. Was he going to tell her? Or was this all a trap? Or maybe it's not what it seems like at all, and everything is just a big misunderstanding? Never the less, the girl slipped the card into her back pocket and jumped out of the bus before anyone was to catch her.
