I was about to ask him about it but suddenly I received a call from my boss. I looked at the time and it's 11 AM. OH NO.

I answered the call, of course I'm scared now. This is like the first time I'm late for my shift OMG.

"Sooyoung where in are you ? It has been an hour and you haven't arrive yet for your shift"
From the other side of the phone

"Give me a reasonable explanation to let you off"
Said the manager of the shop. She sounded strict I'm scared ㅠㅠ

"Sorry boss. It was raining heavily earlier and I couldn't proceed to come earlier because it started raining when I was on my way to the shop. I also didn't have any umbrella on me so I couldn't get there. I'll be there soon I promise !"
I said to her

"You better arrive here soon"
Said the manager as she hung up

"Late for work ?"
He chuckled

"Yeah seems like it"
I sighed but then I saw a bouquet of sunflowers. I then remembered about my manager liking towards sunflowers.

I better get this for her to apologize the second time. I sighed mentally.

"Can I have that bouquet of sunflowers Joshua ?"
I asked him

"Oh this ? Sure sure"
He said with a smile and took the bouquet of sunflowers and went behind the counter

"How much does it costs ?"
I asked as I took out my wallet from my bag

"It'd be 35500 won"
Said Joshua

I handed him the money

"Thank you"
He said politely as he handed me the bouquet of sunflowers

"My pleasure ! I guess I'll see you around when I could. I'll try to drop by when I could"
I said with a smile and left

I hope she won't kill me ㅠㅠ
