- sophia kim -

Those two are still talking like a blind date while I am sitting with Jeonghan and Seungcheol. Both of them are playing on their phones for sure

"Say..."
I uttered, which caused both of them to look up to me

"Yes ?"
They said in unison

"How was Joshua in highschool ?"
I asked them and there was a moment of silence between the three of us

"J-Joshua was the top student of course !"
He stuttered

Yeah, Jisoo seonbaenim sure was the top student but his attitude was... You know how.

"His name's Hong Jisoo right ?"
I asked

"How did you-"

"Coincidentally we've also enrolled in the same highschool. I guess I really was that antisocial to even notice the four of us went to the same school"
I scoffed

"I've never seen you there ??? If you're really a student there, people would've been head over heels to you ???"
Jeonghan asked, confused

"Surprise surprise, I was the nerd of the school"
I chuckled

"For real ?"
Seungcheol asked in disbelief

"Like how can someone this pretty turn into a nerd I-"
Seungcheol was still surprised

"There's this thing called glow up seonbae"
I said as I sighed

"Though I'm just as stupid as others to fall for a player like him huh. I should've known"
I was eyeing Joshua

I could tell Jeonghan was lowkey angry

"Don't just label him as a player. He have changed and he haven't treat any woman badly ever since. If you're just jealous about your friend getting attention from him then it's your problem not ours"
Said Jeonghan as he crossed his arms. He was also frowning

"Indeed, I am jealous. I was head over heels because he was really nice to me. Though I couldn't hope for anything more than just a friend"
I chuckled bitterly

"I'm curious. I've never heard of a name "Sophia Kim" during my highschool days. What exactly was your name ?"
Seungcheol asked

"Sooyoung. As in the infamous Kim Sooyoung that was labelled a loser and an ugly duckling in school. But look at where she is now"
I scoffed

"It wouldn't be a lie either if the three of you have never talked bad stuff about me right ?"
I looked at them and I could tell they felt guilty

"I don't mind. I'm used to having people talking behind my backs"
I said as I stood up

"I guess the world's just unfair"
I sighed as I left the place
