The café today is oddly empty. I guess people are tired of coming here almost everyday. Well at least I'm able to take a rest. I've been getting insomnia lately and I'm really tired.
It was then Heeyoung suddenly went up to me
"Hey Hee--"
I noticed that she wasn't looking very happy. Odd for her. Usually she'd be so happy after meeting Joshua. Well at least she does genuinely like him so I don't mind.
"Hee is everything okay ??"
I asked, definitely worried
"Sophia, are you angry at me ?"
Heeyoung asked
"What ? Why would I ?"
I asked her
"The look you'd always give me when I'm talking about Josh or even when I'm talking about him... It showed anger and something that I couldn't decipher..."
Said Heeyoung
I couldn't bring myself to smile as this have happened A LOT.
"You know you can tell me about it right ?"
Asked Heeyoung
If I tell you then it's over between us...
"You couldn't be crushing on him right ?"
She asked
I didn't know what to say.
"What if I do ?"
I asked instinctively
There was a moment of silence between us
"Then I'm in a tight spot aren't I...."
Said Heeyoung as she looked down
It felt awkward. Like really awkward. What in the hell should I say...???? Admit it ???? Even if I admit it, I don't think anything would change. I can trust Heeyoung right ?
As hesitant as I am... I ended up saying it out loud.
"Yeah. I do like him."
