"You lied." Rory sped right back to the lot and cornered Tig in the garage. "You weren't there overnight, if you were you would have seen this." Whipping Happy's ring from her pocket she shoved it in his face.

"Jesus Christ." He snatched the ring and examined it closely before handing it back to her. "Looks like they snipped it off, probably broke his fingers."

Her stomach turned and she nodded. "Yeah, that's what I thought. We have to get him back, Tig." Suddenly Rory wasn't the nagging, angry girlfriend anymore; he could see how heartbroken she was. "What do you know?"

"Look, this is club business. Hap said you were cool with that, let us do our thing."

"Happy isn't club business, he's my guy and I'm going to get him back."

"Do I need to tie you up and gag you?"

Rory leaned closer to him. "Wouldn't be the first time a Son did that. You guys do what you have to; just keep me in the loop, unlike before."

"Yeah." He agreed quickly. "I'll let you know what's going on."

"What do you know now?" She asked quietly.

Tig groaned and shook his head. "I know some fucking punk kid went over his old man's head and this shit got blown out of proportion."

Rory had an idea. "Okay." She turned her back on Tig and started toward her car. "Gotta go. We'll talk soon."

Back at her apartment, after hours of obsessing on what she could do, Rory showed again and prepared for her date. Her original choice of clothing was demure and boring but she knew she had to step it up a notch. Opting for her never worn black, low V cut dress, she slipped her feet into her heels, reluctantly, before checking her face one last time. The terror was there, buried deep in her gut, but the chance of losing Happy pushed it down to a place she could ignore it.

"You're late." Her heels clicked along the cement as she strolled from her car toward Viktor's. "I thought you were ditching me."

His eyes roamed over her body and slowly his lips turned into a devious grin. "You look great." He took her hand, pressing his lips to her knuckles. "Have you had time to change your mind?" His arm extended out toward his BMW. "I promise you're safe."

Rory checked his belt and holster, preparing herself for any weapon he could possibly use on her and nodded. "I actually did. My mom taught me to be a good girl," she tiptoed close to him and whispered, "But I'm bad, I can't deny it."

Without giving her a chance to change her mind, Viktor ushered her in the car and jumped in his driver's side. "I think we're going to have fun tonight."

"Oh I know we are." She ran her fingers along his thigh. "Let's go."

Rory felt her stomach churn as they grew closer to the freeway ramp and her ability to remain flirty and light was waning. "Are you a good driver?" She asked unexpectedly.

"I think so," he shrugged. "I'm not too practiced in high speed chases but I think I can manage the drive to LA." In the car, despite knowing what she did, Rory saw a different side of this guy. He seemed more innocent but she didn't let it fool her. This guy was the reason Happy was gone and she'd make him pay.

"That's not what I'm talking about. Can you focus?" She shifted her weight, turning her body towards him, with a flirty grin.

"Yeah."

"Good."

Rory gathered all her courage and leaned down into his lap. Her fingers worked slowly at his belt with tears in her eyes. She wasn't sure exactly how it would go but she didn't plan to even touch him skin to skin. "Eager." She said with a grimace realizing he was already hard. "I like that."

"Shh, just do it." He said, pressing his hand on the back of her head.

With a low growl, she wrapped her fingers around him with one hand and with the other, reached quickly in his jacket and whipped the gun from his holster. Pressing the barrel against his crotch, she looked up with a dark scowl. "I'm going to have a lot of fun tonight but I'm not sure about you."
