"Just 'cause I said it, it don't mean that I meant it..." -Rumour Has It, Adele

Jordan’s P.O.V

[Okay, a few notes before you start reading. In America, you have to be 21 or older to drink but Im pretty sure you can be 18 or older and just go clubbing, but you just can’t drink. In this story, Jordan is 19, Heather (she’s the oldest) and Rachael are 21, and Willow and Kat are 20.]

*Later that day

I threw my head back on the couch and let out a huge sigh. “I’M SO BORED.” I said loudly.

“Well that makes all of us.” Max replied. He ran his hand over his bald head and started to think. “Can you die of boredom?”

“I don’t know. I’ll give ya another hour, see if you’re still breathing.” Heather said and got up to reached the remote. She grabbed it and went back to sitting on the armrest of the chair Tom was sitting on. “Why do I feel like this is all we do everyday? Sit in the living room and be bored?”

“Uhh, because it is all we do.” Willow answered.

I turned to my side and looked at Nathan. He turned and looked at me. I smiled at him. He smiled at me. I looked into his eyes and held my hand up against his cheek. “You’re so cute.”

Nathan smiled wider and wrapped his hands around my waist. “You’re cuter.”

“Okay you’re both cute, now stop before I puke.” Rachael gave us her ‘disgusted’ look and snuggled closer to Jay.

I stuck my tongue out at her and turned back to Nathan. I leaned over and placed a kiss on his cheek.

“Oh gosh, now they’re gonna start.” Max joked.

Kat looked at him with a confused look on her face. “Start what?”

We all gave Max a stern look and he gave a small smile to Kat and patted her head, “N-nothing babe, don’t worry about it.”

“OH I GOT AN IDEA!” Tom exclaimed and jumped from his seat. Heather fell back into the chair because he was the one supporting her from sitting on the arm rest.

I burst out laughing with Rachael. Everyone else tried to bite their lip so they wouldn’t laugh out loud. I pointed at Heather, who was laying on the chair uncomfortably with her head on the actually chair and her legs flying out on the other side.

She straightened herself out and sat down, delivering me and Rachael a glare. She looked up at Tom, who was looking back at her with a sympathetic smile.

“Whoops, sorry babe.” Tom apologized.

Heather waved her hand in the air and shook it off. “Yeah, yeah, it’s fine just tell us what your oh so brilliant idea is already.”

“Okay so,” Tom began. “Long story short, let’s head to the club.”

Max and Jay stood up, clapping their hands happily. “GREAT IDEA!” they said in unison.

“Uhh, NOT GREAT IDEA.” Nathan protested from beside me.

Tom stared at Nathan with an annoyed face. “Okay well that sucks for you Nath, that you can’t drink here in America and the rest of us can.”

I threw my hands up and gestured towards myself. “Uh yeah, hello? I can’t legally drink either.”

Tom waved his hand toward me and smile. “There ya go Nath, you’re not alone. That makes two of you.”

“Jordan wouldn’t drink anyway. She’s too much of a goody two shoes.” Rachael smirked.

I rolled my eyes at her and sat back. “Hey, if I was 21 years old, I could drink.”

“Yeah, you could, but you’d choose not to.” She shot back.

“Well, well….ummm….”

“EXACTLY.”

I shook my head and crossed my arms. “Whatever.” I mumbled under my breath.

“Okay well aside from those two who can’t drink, does everyone else want to go clubbing?” Jay asked.

“Oh yeah, haven’t been there for a while.” Heather smiled. “But me and Rachael are the only ones who can actually drink. The rest of these girls can’t.”

“Way to rub it in..” Willow mumbled.

“HAHA, sucks to be only a year away from drinking, doesn’t it?” Heather smirked and got up. “Now let’s all get ready.”

“Do I have to go?” I whined.

“Just because you can’t drink, doesn’t mean you still can’t come clubbing with the rest of us and just have fun.” Rachael said.

I rolled my eyes. I really didn’t like the thought of clubbing. I’ve never even been to a club before. Every other time the rest of the girls wanted to go, I’d just stay home. It just isn’t my sort of thing I guess.

“Now let’s go.” Willow grabbed my arm and dragged me up the stairs with the rest of the girls. “WE’LL BE DOWN IN A FEW MINUTES, BOYS!”

I know you’d probably expect us to all dress in some of those tight and short dresses, wear loads of makeup, and do our hair in crazy ways.

Yeah, we’re kind of a special group of girls. Different than the rest.

None of us bothered to wear dresses, though some of us own many. Willow and I dressed in skinny jeans, Kat wore a skirt, and Heather and Rachael wore shorts. We all wore random tops that we wanted to as well.

The only thing with hair that any of us did was straighten it. Rachael and Heather almost killed each other, fighting over who got to use the hair straightener first.

I left my hair our naturally wavy and Kat did hers up in a ponytail while Willow had hers out natural as well.

Willow and I stood by the room door while the rest of the girls were finishing up getting ready. I sighed and leaned against the door. “Willow?” I asked.

She turned her head and faced me. “What’s on your mind, girl?”

I shrugged. “I don’t know. I just have a bad feeling about tonight.”

“Look,” Willow said and placed both her hands on my shoulders. “Everything will be fine. We’ll all be there together. And you’ll have Nathan there with you too. Just let loose, dance, have fun. And stay away from the bar.” She smiled.

“Thanks Willow.” I smiled back at her.

“Anytime.”

“You girls ready?!” Heather asked.

We both nodded.

Rachael jumped in front of us both and opened the door. “NOW LET’S PARTY!!”
