“You're making moves, you're gonna lose, you know you played yourself. And now you're thinkin', thinkin' you can get one by me, but you'll never win, but you'll never win. Try again, 'cause the game is over.” The Game Is Over, *NSYNC

Nathan's P.O.V

Kat and I walked down to the hallway, with no luck of anyone seeing Jordan. My heart kept beating a hundred times more every time we knocked on someone’s door, hoping they saw Jordan. But, we had no luck.

Kat looked over at me and placed a hand on my shoulder. “Nath, calm down, I’m sure Jordan is fine.”

“I feel like it’s my fault.” I said, full of guilt. Maybe if I actually got a little suspicious and went into that room after she was gone for so long, I would’ve prevented all of this from happening. Now Jordan is who knows where probably with who knows who and I’ll probably never see her again.

“Yeah, and how the heck is it your fault?”

“Well maybe if I went into that room after I realized it was taking so long and it wasn’t normal, I could’ve stopped it all from happening.”

Kat took her hand away from my shoulder and looked at me. “Nathan, stop blaming yourself. We’ll find Jordan. I promise. Now come on, let’s knock here and see if this person knows anything.” She nodded her head towards the door to my left.

I nodded my head slowly and put up my fist to knock on the door when I heard…

“AAHHH STOP IT JASON! LET ME GO!! UGH, YOU LITTLE-“

My head quickly turned to see Jordan right there, in the elevator with someone. And that someone was most definitely a boy. He had his arms around her neck, basically strangling her as she tried to push away and get free from his grasp on her.

“Jordan!” I shouted.

Her head shot up and a smile appeared on her face. That amazing smile of hers. I couldn’t help but smile back at her.

The boy immediately started hit some button on the wall, trying to get the doors to close.

“UGH, DAMN DOOR!” he screamed.

Kat finally realized what was going on and made a dash for he elevator, me following close behind.

Jordan held up her arms, hoping for us to come and get her away from him.

We were only a foot away from the elevator when the doors started to close.

“Jordan!” Kat screamed and tried to reach out for her. But it was too late. The two doors closed and Jordan vanished.

Kat’s head quickly turned to face me with a worried expression, “That was Jason! He has Jordan! Come on!” she grabbed my arm and pulled me towards the stairs.

There were literally like 20 flights of stairs.

But Jordan was worth it.

Jordan’s P.O.V

In that one second, I thought I would have had some luck.

I saw Nathan and I couldn’t help but smile. Seeing him made my heart beat faster and hope flood through me.

But of course Jason being a dickhead would close the door right before they even get the chance to reach us.

I struggled to get out of his grip with the fact that he had his arm tightly around my neck, and he would tighter like every second. In another minute or so, I’m going to be out cold on the floor. Eventually I had the strength to elbow him in the stomach hard enough for him to let go of me.

I started to fall back a bit but caught myself before I crashed down on the floor. I put my hand over my heart and felt it beating 100x more than normal and started panting like a dog.

“B*TCH!” Jason screamed and came over to me. Before I could defend myself in anyway, he threw his fist into my face. I was way too weak at the moment to do anything.

It didn’t take long for the pain to shoot through. My hand went up to my face and I felt a liquid dripping down from my nose.

Oh great, I was bleeding.

If that wasn’t enough, he had the nerve to push me back, causing me to fall backwards and bang the wall, headfirst.

That was when my world went black

Heather’s P.O.V

If I knew Jason, I knew that he would only show up here to try and get Jordan to get home. And if I knew Jordan, she would immediately disagree with that.

And if I knew the logic between them, then I knew that in the end Jason would end up just dragging her out by force.

“Wait, where the heck would she even be right now?” Tom asked from behind me. I was about to go outside but I stopped and turned around. “Jason would force her to go home. And that would mean airport.”

“But what if he didn’t even leave?” Tom asked. Oh great, I never thought about that.

“Yeah well-well-well what if he already left and could be boarding a plane with her right now?!” I countered. I really didn’t even know what to say to that. “Ugh, WHEN I GET MY HANDS ON THAT BOY, I WILL STRANGLE HIM!” I let out a frustrated yell.

Tom grabbed me and pulled me into a hug to try and calm me down. “It’s okay Heather, just calm down a bit. I’ll text everyone else and tell them to scout out the area, making sure if they’re still here.”

“HEATHER! TOM!” I heard a voice call. I looked over and saw Nathan and Kat running towards us, looking really out of breath.

“What? What? What happened?!” I asked frantically as I saw Kat pass out on the floor while Nathan bent over with his hands on his knees, panting really hard.

“We..we…we saw…Jordan…in…the…elevator.” Nathan said in between breaths.

“When?” Tom asked.

“Before we passed out because of the stairs.” Kat answered and put a hand on her stomach.

Tom and I looked at each other. “So they’re still here!” we both said. We quickly ran over to the other side of the lobbies and waited by the only elevator there. If Jason and Jordan were still here and Jason was going to make her go home, this would be the only elevator they’d come out of.

Kat looked up and caught us running. Her eyes went wide, “MORE RUNNIG?!”

Nathan held out a hand and helped her up. He bent over and nodded towards his back. “Hop on my back.”

“YAY PIGGY BACK RIDE!” she exclaimed and jumped on Nathan’s back as he ran the same path Tom and me just did.

We stood by the elevator and looked up to see what floor it was on. In another second, the next arrow would light up and the doors would open. And we stood by it until it did.

Finally, there was a ding, and the doors opened to reveal Jason and an out cold Jordan hung over his back.

Holy flippin' nuggets, there were so many elevators in this chapter :OOOOOOOOOO

To be honest, I'm actually not a big fan of elevators because I'm claustrophobic and I just watched too many movies as a kid where people get stuck in them and then scary stuff happens..... >,<

Hope you enjoyed!! :]
