Chapter 9- Darkness

 Jordan’s P.O.V

We went inside of this cool looking restaurant that serves breakfast and got our seats. We sat in a little booth by the window. Me and my girls sat on one side and the boys sat on the other.

I grabbed the breakfast menu and started to look through it.

“Whatcha getting Jordan?” Willow nudged my shoulder.

 I looked over at Nathan and smirked. He was the last to come downstairs to the lobby, therefore he was paying for everyone’s breakfast!

“I don’t know, I feel like getting the most expensive thing on the menu, knowing Nathan’s gonna pay for everything.” I joked.

“You wouldn’t dare.” He said.

“Would I?”

I laughed softly and then looked through the menu again for something to order. I ended up just getting some chocolate chip pancakes and orange juice.

Tom survived this one restaurant. Thank goodness.

Nathan of course ended up paying, but I tried to offer to pay at least half. He insisted that I didn’t have to, and ended up winning that argument.

We walked out of the restaurant and started to make our way towards the car.

“Sooo now what?” Rachael asked.

Everyone looked around at each other and shrugged. Jay put an arm around her shoulder and looked into her eyes. “We could go see the dolphins. Just me and you.”

Kat gasped as soon as Rach said ‘dolphins’. They were Kat’s favorite animals. “MAXX!!! I WANNA GO SEE THE DOLPHINS!”

“Or not.” Jay breathed out.

“What? But I kinda wanted to-“ Max started to argue, bad choice.

Kat went all serious and pointed a finger in front of his face. “No, we’re seeing the dolphins, whether ya like it or not.”

“Okay love.” Max sighed.

“Don’t ya think you’re being a bit pushy, Kat?” Heather said.

“Girl, you know not to go between her and her dolphins.” I pointed out. Kat nodded her head for approval and grabbed Max’s hand.

“I’ll meet you guys back at the hotel later!” Kat shouted and ran in some direction with him.

Jay sighed and looked back at Rachael. “Wanna go to the beach then?”

“Oh my gosh, yes! I bet it’s gorgeous here!” Rachael exclaimed and grabbed Jay’s arm. “We can walk there from here, let’s go. See you guys later!”

And then that left Me, Nathan, Siva, Willow, Heather, and Tom.

“And then there were 6 left.” I mumbled and played with my dog tag around my neck.

“Actually, make that only 4. Tom is taking me shopping. I cannot leave the Bahamas without purchasing some clothes from here.” Heather said and grabbed Tom’s hand. “Is it okay if we take the car?”

I looked at Willow, Siva, and Nathan and shrugged.

Heather smiled and walked towards the car with Tom. “Thanks! See ya guys later!”

“Well,” I began and stared at everyone else. “I don’t know about you, but I’d honestly just love it if we just went back to the hotel. I need a power nap. Ya know, since you all lied to me about Channing Tatum shirtless this morning and woke me up!” I said the last part sternly and eyed Willow.
