Jonathan and Nancy planned on doing more investigating after gathering the news about Lana.

She had slowly regained her strength.
Billy and Gavin didn't leave her side.

"We can't stay here forever."
Lana said to Jim and he looked over from the kitchen in the cabin.

"I know. But I can't let you go out there knowing that thing is out there waiting." He answered distraught.
Lana gazed at him morosely.

"It'll be waiting for me here. It will wait for me anywhere I go."
She said to Jim sadly while Billy watched her.

"You aren't thinking of confronting this thing are you?"
Billy asked Lana alarmed.

"Yes. That's exactly what I plan to do. He thinks I'm weak. He doesn't know who I am."
She replied determinedly and confidently.

Jim watched her with pride.
Lana had more bravery than any person he had seen.
It scared Billy though.
He didn't want to lose Her.

"I have to go back home."
She said.

"I'm not hiding anymore. If it's a fight he wants, it's a fight he'll get."
She finished and Billy went to say something.
Gavin just gently placed his hands on His shoulders.

"She's right. Whether we like it or not." Gavin stated simply.
Lana smiled gratefully at him.

Jim sighed in defeat.

"Let's get you home then."
He said sullenly.
