021: The Ultimate Sacrifice

"I'll make it right."

The Steel Works building was up in flames when Anthony suddenly summoned all the power he had and sent it rushing towards them.
Lana and Jane tried to force it back but couldn't do it in time as Jim went flying a ways away from them.
Billy was sent hurdling into the truck and his body crippled to the ground.
Steve and Robin were thrown back near the truck as well, crashing to the gravel.

Lana and Jane both screamed out in anger, hand in hand.

Anthony took each step in stride while Lana shouted, But it made no difference.
Jim, Billy, Steve and Robin were unconscious.

Gavin suddenly stepped in front of them.
Anthony was quickly upon them.

"I just want Lana."
He said menacingly when Gavin pulled the shotgun from the back of his jeans.
He pointed the shotgun at Anthony and it quickly flew from his hands.

Anthony stared at Lana.

"Come with me."
He stated, wincing in pain.
The building was slowly starting to erupt in flames, shattering and falling apart.

She narrowed her eyes.

"Leave us ALONE."
Lana shouted, pushing her hands out and Anthony swiftly, within the blink of an eye, had grabbed a hold of Gavin.
He grabbed his neck, lifting him up while Gavin's legs thrashed around.
Her eyes widened in horror.
She immediately started to move towards them to get Gavin.

Anthony glanced at Lana then at Jane, focusing his powers on them and they realized they couldn't move.
They were paralyzed.
Lana yelled and screamed out in anguish  as tears started to stream from her eyes.

This couldn't be happening.
