The aftermath of the infamous break up of Lana Woods and Billy Hargrove was all the gossip of the small town of Hawkins.
Within a day it had hit the ears of Police Chief Jim Hopper.
And instantly, he was worried.
On top of him planning to tell Lana her parents were somewhere in the Bahamas, Now he found out Lana and Billy had broken up and that could not be good.

"Where did you hear this from?"
Jim asked Flo and his receptionist looked over at him from her typewriter.

"Honey, everyone is talking about it. Apparently that little Hargrove boy even left her house."
She gossiped.
He just let out a loud sigh.

"Son of a bitch."
Jim muttered, grabbing his truck keys and hat, heading out of the station.

Lana wasn't at her house so Jim knew she was working.
He got to the Hawkins pool and saw that Heather Holloway was at the front desk.

"Is Lana Woods working?"
He asked Heather and she immediately sat up straighter.

"Y-Yes."

"Chill out kid, your not in trouble. What's going on with her and the Hargrove boy?"
Jim then asked Heather casually to try to make Her feel less nervous.
It worked.

"Oh, they broke up. Lana kissed Anthony apparently."
She said raising her eyebrows.
He was taken back.

That didn't seem like Lana.

"Who's this Anthony boy?"
