"And here I thought patrol was the easy part." Akano sarcastically chimed, finally sitting down and resting her sore feet for the first time since the crack of dawn. Thankfully, Endeavor's agency lodging for their interns, making transportation a hell of a lot easier. The rooms being as fancy as a five star hotel's was also a perk.It was the middle of the afternoon. Both she and Shouto sat in the lounge where his father's sidekicks lunched or rested. The telepath was holding a bottle of water for herself, while Todoroki clasped his own refreshment.
"Yeah..." Todoroki wholeheartedly agreed, taking a sip of his sports drink afterward.
The trio circled the entirety of Hosu city on foot, sparing no alleyway in sight.
It seemed like Endeavor was adamant on catching the Hero Killer before he could strike again. And the only reason they were currently off the street and taking a well deserved break was because Endeavor apprehended a criminal and had to bring him down to the police station. He wasn't even a high profile criminal, just a low-life thief who'd robbed a jewelry store and bolted. The Pro Hero didn't even have to use his flames to catch him, telling his son and Yumi to watch closely as he took him down with the sheer strength of his muscles.
"Well, I'm sure it's some kind of training in its own way." He added, eyes drawing closer in concentration.
"I guess you're right." Yumi hummed in response, noting that Endeavor didn't even break a single sweat throughout the entirety of their day.
A gentle twitch of her eyebrows was elicited as she mulled it over. 'It's a great way to build up and maintain stamina.' She supposed that's how most Pro Heroes kept in shape. After all, it was a career where you have seldom time off, and the more responsibilities you hold, the less time you'd have for exercise. Even so, the redhead was starting to get anxious, eager to use and practice using her Quirk.
Speaking of Endeavor, the flame hero had re-emerged, with Onima, one of his assistants, and Kido -who'd arrived just a few minutes ago- walking closely behind him.
"Well?" Endeavor queried with the same imposing tone, a slight urgency hidden behind it.
"Still no sign of him, Sir!" Kido declared, standing straight. "Also, Burnin and I checked the police records and had no luck identifying him."
Enji Todoroki clicked his tongue in dissatisfaction. "Luck has nothing to do with it. Be sure to let me if anything comes up."
Kido gulped before nodding affirmatively. "Yes, Sir!"
Ice cold turquoise eyes shifted from his sidekick to Shouto's and Yumi's forms, and the two abruptly stood up. "What are you sitting around for?! Let's go!"

No one could have expected this sort of development.
One minute, the Hosu evening sky was dotted by the tall buildings, filled with the sound dogs barking down alleyways along with the clatter of trash cans being knocked over. And another, the whole city resonated with chaos.
A wave of dread engulfed the atmosphere, as did the blazing arms of fire all around the landscape.
"Shouto, Phoenix, there's trouble! Follow me!" Endeavor commanded.
Shouto and Yumi dashed as fast they could, keeping up with Endeavor and Onima who'd led the way. The sound of their violently stomping boots on the pavement was easily drowned out by the turbulence in the air.
"I'll show you what it means to be a hero!"
The red haired girl obediently complied, teeth clenched in morbid bewilderment. 'The Hero Killer? No, he wouldn't pull something so flashy...' She pondered in thought, not catching the moment Todoroki's phone flashed after he dug it out of his pocket.
