"Akano-san,"
Numerous heads twirled as a few occupants of class C noticed the telepathic redhead by the threshold of their classroom.
"Look, it's Akano-san!" Another one excitedly declared, allowing the rest of them to gather around.
"How are you?"
"It's been lonely without you here!"
"I heard you did an internship with Endeavor, that's so cool!"
Absentmindedly, Yumi nodded her head as she quietly scanned the room for a familiar tuft of purple hair. And once she realized that he was no where to be found, she asked of his whereabouts. "Hey, do you know where Shinso is?"
"Shinso?" Wakamatsu repeated, lips parting in a look that can only interpreted as 'what does she want with him?'
He cleared his throat once he saw that Akano was gazing at him expectantly for an answer. "He stepped out just a minute ago, but I'll let him know you dropped by."
"Thanks." She said, releasing an audible sigh as she left the classroom and made her way back to the cafeteria -in which Hitoshi was also absent.
The purple haired boy had been ignoring her ever since her transfer. While she was still busy with her training and exam prep, she still attempted to reach out and speak to Shinso, refusing to let their slowly developing (and unlikely) friendship to end on such a note. But it became increasingly difficult to speak to with him playing 'catch the mouse'.
Just as Yumi was about to take a turn to reach the threshold of Lunch Rush's eatery, she heard a string of a few familiar voices.
"Hey, look over there." Aoba smiled maliciously with a couple of her friends as she nodded her head towards someone. With furrowed eyebrows, Yumi followed her gaze as did the other girls. And she saw the despicable Mineta in line at the cafeteria, trying to peak under a girl's skirt whose standing in front of him.
"Eww! He's so gross." One of the girls giggled in disgust, and Akano couldn't help but silently agree. Thankfully Tsuyu was there to stop Mineta's perverted antics by slapping him with her extended tongue.
Just as the redhead was about to step out and make her presence known, Aoba continued speaking with disdain. "I still can't figure out how someone like that made it to the hero course." She said, rolling her eyes.
"Same with that one." One of the girls added, referring to Asui.
"Look at that face, you can't even tell what she's thinking."
"Her expression doesn't change at all, too." Another said observantly, but the mockery could still be detected in her tone. "Is it because she's a frog?"
"That class is full of weirdos I tell ya." The blonde commented bitterly, eliciting the twitching of Yumi's lips.
"I know, right?" Although they trashed the whole class, the two girls shadowing Aoba had to admit that at least one of them wasn't so bad. Todoroki Shouto, the son of the Number two hero was really handsome despite having a huge scar taking up the upper left portion of his face. Scarlet and white hair, heterochromatic eyes so striking that they would arrest anyone who had the privilege of gazing upon his handsome features. He had a slender build yet a toned physique, and his outstanding combat skills during the sports festival unintentionally drew all of the girls' attention to him.
Clearing her throat, Yumi began walking once more, unable to withstand any more of the blonde's badmouthing of her classmates any longer -but still not choosing to acknowledge it, either.
