Like a lost puppy, Shim jaeyoon looked around the passing students. Anxious because he doesn't know what to do. The guard won't let him in and they can't understand each other because of the language barrier.
Jake just moved to korea and he's still in the middle of improving his korean, he has yet to get his ID and uniform from the school but the guard said that he needed an ID first to get in.
He doesn't know anyone and he can't even communicate, how great right?
Y/N was talking to her friend when she spotted the boy and the guard. The poor boy was trying to communicate with the guard but it's not working. Y/N told her friend to go in first as she walked to the scene greeting the guard a good morning.
"What's wrong? Are you a transferee?" When jake saw her, he was starstruck. She's beautiful , is what he first thought and she's speaking fluent english!
Y/N raised her brow getting impatient, jake blinked a few times blushing, faking a cough before answering.
"Ah, yes. The guard doesn't seem to understand me. I haven't gotten my ID yet so uhh.." Y/N nodded and talked to the guard. She showed her ID tapping it to the machine. Y/N looked at him.
"Come with me." She turned her back and she started walking, jake immediately followed her and walked beside her. Jake looked at the students who were greeting the girl beside him.
"I, I'm shim jaeyoon you can call me jake." He introduced himself, Y/N looked at him giving him a little nod tapping his right shoulder. She went in a room that seems to be a student council's faculty, where he also went in. He lookes around first then looked at the girl again. Her face always has a poker face and she seems to be a cool and calm person.
"Ha-in, assist the transferee. Talk to him in english." You told the secretary before sitting on your desk, immediately checking the files in your table.
"Yes president." She said in a jolly way, giving you a thumbs up. Ha-in looked at jake.
"Hey! Im ha-in the student body secretary. You're? " She asked for his name smiling.
"Uh, shim jaeyoon." ha-in nodded excitedly, happy that there's a new handsome boy in the school.
"What about her?" Jake asked looking at Y/N who's currently busy signing papers. Ha-in followed his eyes and a knowing look formed on her face.
"The president?" Ha-in sad teasing. Jake immediately git flustered when he realized that she was teasing him.
"W-well? Whats her name?" He still managed to ask, genuinely curious about the girl who helped him.
"She's Y/N our student body president." Ha-in said proudly. Y/N looked up to their way when she heard her name.
"What are you doing? Go. Classes will start soon." Ha-in pouted and waved at you. You shaked your head and went back to your work.
After that day, jake now has an undeniable crush on you.
