"I didn't wish for us to end up like this." I said bitterly, raising my sword to meet the neck of the emperor that was ruthlessly ruling the empire I devoted my life to protect. He smirked at me as my eyes started to water with tears.
"Go on, love. Kill me." I started to tremble tightening my grip on my sword.
"Shut up. Why arent you fighting me jongseong? Get your sword and fight me fairly." Cause im hoping that it might just help lessen the pain.
He smiled and touched the blade of my sword and angled it in his stomach. My eyes widened in shock when he pushed him self on my blade. My tears rolled down as I watched him fall on the ground. I immediately sat next to him placing his head on my lap like I used to, when everything was still perfect.
"No! No! No! Don't do this. Jay! " I shaked my head trying to make myself believe that this is all not happening. I bit my lip as he touched my cheek, I immediately leaned to his touch desperately.
"No. Don't leave me." He chuckled as he started choking.
"I love you." He whispered. I started to cry harder when the realization hitted me. The man that I love is dying infront of me, in my hands.
"I love you too my dear emperor." He smiled at me for the last time and it didn't take long before his eyes started to get heavy and my whole world fell apart when his eyes closed and his body stopped moving.
"If time would repeat itself, I will no longer be your enemy, I will stay by your side until my last breath, so our bitter faith won't repeat itself again. I promise." I whispered silently praying to all the Gods that might be watching right now. Praying that the legend of time repeating is true.
I leaned in trembling kissing his lips for the last time.Please let the time repeat once more, let me save the man I love along with this dying empire.
"The Emperor has fallen! Long live the empire!"
