"Help me! Someone please!" Y/n runned to the dark hallway screaming and crying for help. She was finally sleeping peacefully for the first time, when she heard someone moving. When she opened her eyes,a guy in a cloak was pointing a dagger on her, ready to kill her. She was lucky that she immediately moved.
She immediately went outside her room running to the dark hallway when the guy started chasing after her, and it seems like the guy wasn't alone because 5 men are now chasing after her. She held the hem of her dress tightly as her feet brought her to the familliar room.
The room where she met her fiance. She opened the doors widely but what she witnessed made her stop, she took a step backing away in shock.
A pair of red glowing eyes greeted her, the curtains that was closed earlier was now wide opened, the room was embraced by the full moon's light finally letting her see the face of the man she's going to marry.
Sunghoon looked at his crying fiancee, there was fear in her face. He concluded that his love was scared of him. He gritted his teeth in anger and in shame. Angry at himself for revealing his identity to the women he deeply loves so early and shame because the rumors about him was true. He's a blood sucking monster.
Y/n heard the men's footsteps, she looked backed at them before looking at her fiance with begging eyes.
"Y-your grace please help me." She begged ignoring the fact that her fiance has red glowing eyes and white fangs.
Sunghoon immediately went to y/n, pulling her in. He burried her face in his chest to prevent her from looking and in one snap the men that were chasing after her was dead lying on the floor.
Y/n backed away and looked at sunghoon with teary eyes. She pulled his neck and hugged him tightly,surprising sunghoon. She didn't care if he was a monster, the only thing that's on her mind was that he saved her and that is enough to make her feel better.
"Thank you, your grace." She whispered not letting him go. It felt so familliar for some reason, like she's already used to hugging him like this.
Sunghoon hugged her back closing his eyes tightly.
He bit his lip as he recalled the first time y/n hugged him in her 22th life.
"Till your next life, my love." Sunghoon held y/n's hand with tears dripping from his eyes. No matter how many times he had already witnessed y/n's lifeless body. He really just can't get used to it. That's right.
It was already Y/n's 22th reincarnation,sunghoon's 22th time meeting his soulmate and his 22th time witnessing his lover die.
