- MEGAN'S POV -

She seemed so excited according to the text messages she sent me this afternoon, it almost makes me scared to go to her house later this day. She asked me if I could come over around five and she said that I should wear something warm. I mean? What the hell could that mean? Are we going to Antarctica or something? Anyways, whatever it is, I'm sure it's going to be amazing. Every day I spend with her is amazing, so...

I haven't seen Nora since the day we went to my dad's graveyard. We've been texting but I feel like she keeps ignoring my phone calls and requests to FaceTime. I just hope I didn't do anything wrong. Or that we're back at the whole 'jealousy' situation which I thought we finally got rid of.

Wear something warm. Mmm. That won't be a problem. You guys are gonna think I'm crazy because of this, but I like winter more than summer. I'd rather have it ice cold than super hot and I'd rather have snowy days the whole year than sunny days. The vibes winter gives me is the best thing in the whole world. You get to pick out these cozy clothes and comfy outfits. I love it. Besides, winter season means Christmas season. And Christmas season means happiness for me. Being with friends or family, opening presents under the Christmas tree while it's snowing outside. Drinking a cup of hot chocolate milk while sitting in front of the tv, watching a Christmas movie with a warm and cozy blanket wrapped around your body. It makes me the happiest.

But, we're in summer right now, so, too bad for me I guess. It's been really hot lately and I hate it. Like, what the hell are you supposed to do to get rid of that hotness? There's literally nothing you can do. Well, you could hang into a swimming pool all day, but even that could become too hot after a while. People always find it weird when I tell them I don't like summer. But why is it so weird, though? The heat is literally everywhere and you cannot escape it.

The only time you can escape the heat for a bit, is at night. So, maybe Billie's going to take me somewhere tonight? That's why I need to wear something warm? I don't fucking know. Anyways, I'm really excited. She seemed so happy when texting me about it.

"Where are you taking me, Bil?", I ask, a blindfold wrapped around my head as she guides me through the cold night.

She took me to a beautiful restaurant tonight. And it looked expensive as hell. She wouldn't let me see the prices of the food, though. Typically Billie.

"Just have patience, my love." After walking for a while, me struggling not to fall, we finally arrive at the place. "Alright, you can look."

I take off my blindfold and immediately feel overwhelmed by the beautiful and all too familiar surrounding. We're at 'our' beach, as Billie always calls it. The beach where we used to go to a lot to hang out, before we got into a relationship. I haven't been here for a while now. She decorated the place with lights and some flowers and there's even a tent, which I'm guessing we're going to sleep in tonight. Now I know why I needed the warm clothes.

"Billie, this is–" I look at her, still in shock. "This is beautiful."

She smiles and takes both of my hands, kissing them softly. "You are beautiful."

I giggle. "Softie."

"Fuck you."

"Gladly", I smirk which makes her blush slightly. "Now, why did you do all this, Miss Eilish? You know you didn't have to."
