The guy looked at us both, confused.

"Y-you're...Amaya...you're the one that escaped the asylum..."

I smirked.

He looked as if he were debating thoughts in his mind.

He then had an expression of pain on his face.

Heh...he forgot that he had a knife in his back...

I laughed, it echoed throughout the woods.

He looked at me confused.

I start to sing again.

"...la la la...la la...la la la...la la..."

I then go to him.

He looked hypnotised a bit.

All his muscles relaxed, tension in him seemed to be released.

I put both hands on his chest, then whispered.

"...la..."

I pushed him, the knife stuck into him, blood began to stream out the corners of his mouth.

He was still breathing, more or less in shock.

I grab him by his forearm, dragging him to an edge of the woods...a cliff.

I muster up enough of my strength, and I drag the rest of his body over the edge.

He falls over the edge, crashing into large rocks beneath him.

Crimson blood puddled behind his head, a single blade stuck from his abdomen.

I watched his blood continue to rush across the rocks.

I felt Seikatsu behind me.

"Thanks Amaya...I should've listened to you...I thought I could do it..."

I smirk and bend to her height.

"Its fine, I was worried about you though...but no matter what, I will always protect you."

She smiled and threw her arms around my neck.

I froze.

"Thank you Amaya."

I could feel warm small drops on my shoulder blades.

I rose to my feet, and began to walk away.

Seikatsu grabbed my hand and she followed.

I felt that weird feeling in my stomach.

I tightened my grip on her hand.

She looked up at me and smiled.

I look at her and smirk.

"Amaya...why don't you smile?"

"Hmm?"

"You always smirk, but never smile."

"Aren't they both the same things?"

"Of course not! One is like...I wanna smile but I think I'm 'too cool' to do it. The other is like hello! I am happy! I will be a sunshine on your cloudy day!"

She twirled around and I chuckled.

"Same goes for laughing!"

She smiled and she laughed.

She was happy, something I wished to be for years.

"Amaya...if I ever die before you do, can you promise me to smile before I close my eyes forever?"

I froze a bit, then nodded once.

"Sure Seikatsu..."

She hugged my hips and skipped happily throughout the woods.

Oh Seikatsu...you're so amusing...

Just then I heard something of a loud thunder-like sound.

I look at Seikatsu, her smile had faded.

The clouds that made way for the sun to come through began to recover.

The sky had but one cloud to include.

She had quit smiling, a small circle of red was noticeable on her white, flowing dress, she then fell to the ground.

"SEIKATSU!"

No...Seikatsu...NO!
