George watched with a smile as Alice danced gracefully with Pansy. Katie looked at George and smiled. She saw how madly in love he was with Alice. "I suggest you make a move on her tonight before someone else does. She's being eyed by everyone tonight." Katie said catching George's attention. He blushed and ignored Katie at first. " I can't do that Katie. She's my best friend she doesn't feel that way about me. She never will and if I make a move she'll hate me and reject me. Then I'll lose her and I can't lose her. I'm fine with staying friends even if it means we'll never be together." George said sounding a bit sad. He twirled Katie around and lifted her. "Look George, I've seen the way she acts around you. That's not how someone acts when they want to be just friends." Katie said smirking. George blushed and realized Katie was right. The way Alice looked at him, cuddled with him, and how she almost always kisses his cheek. It all made sense to George now and he realized how stupid he'd been. If he had the guts to ask Alice to the ball he'd be dancing with her right now.
Alice was having an amazing time with Pansy and her friends. Alice was laughing with Ginny and Luna when she looked over at George and saw him staring back at her. She looked away quickly, blushing from the way he looked at her. Parvati had told her that she needed to make a move but Alice refused to do so. He looked happy with Katie and she didn't want to start drama. Alice looked over and saw Blaise asking Ron to dance. Padma had left with a Durmstrang since Ron wasn't dancing and barely talked to her. Alice smiled when she saw Ron accept the dance. Alice saw Molly and Neville dancing not caring if they messed up and smiled. She was happy that her friends were happy.
As the night went on people started leaving since it was getting late. Alice saw Ron and Hermione arguing before Hermione stormed out, crying. Pansy and Alice soon followed to comfort Hermione. They found her on the stairs and sat on either side of her. Alice rubbed her back saying that Ron was a git and was wrong about what he said. Pansy pulled Hermione into a hug and said he didn't understand. Alice happened to notice that Pansy was about to make a move on Hermione so she decided to leave. "I'm going to head to bed. Goodnight guys. Feel better Hermione." Alice said.
Alice had been walking through the halls, lost in thought, passing couples snogging every so often. When she was around the corner of the Room of Requirements she broke down and started crying. All night she waited for George to ask her to dance and he never did. All night she wished George had asked her to the ball. She slid down the wall, sitting on the floor. She continued to cry and finally letting out all the feelings she kept bottled up for the whole week.
As she cried she didn't hear the footsteps approaching her. "Love what's wrong? What happened?" Alice finally looked up and realized it was George. "It's nothing go back to Katie. I'm fine." Alice said softly. George took her hands and pulled her off the floor. "Don't lie to me Alice tell me what's wrong." George said with a hint of worry in his voice. "I just wish you'd kiss me already." Alice said so quietly it was almost inaudible. George was confused and barely heard her. "What was that?" George asked hoping to get an answer. Alice sighed and turned away getting ready to walk away. "Never mind." She said sadly and started to leave. "Fuck it." She heard from behind her and before she knew what was happening, George pulled her back and pinned her to the wall holding her waist and his lips were on hers. Alice was shocked but kissed back. It was passionate and rough at the same time. It soon turned into a long awaited snogging session. George moved his kisses to her jawline and her neck, leaving a hickey behind, and moved them back up to her lips, while Alice had her hands in his hair.
When George finally pulled away he rested his forehead on hers, smiling just as big as Alice. "We should probably talk." George said, nodding his head towards the Room of Requirements. He took her hand and led her to the Room of Requirements. They walked in and it was a simple bedroom. It had a queen size bed with maroon sheets, a fireplace, dresser, and a bathtub in the corner. It was lit by the fireplace and candles throughout the room. It was quite romantic in Alice's opinion. George went to the dresser and pulled out his t-shirt for Alice and some sweatpants for himself. He took of his dress robe off and put it on the dresser. He walked up behind Alice and unzipped her dress for her. "I thought you looked gorgeous tonight. Well your always gorgeous but tonight you looked especially stunning." George said softly, kissing her neck. He smirked when he realized he left a hickey on her neck from before. Alice took of her dress and put on George's t-shirt, she had no bra on and only her underwear underneath the t-shirt but clearly George didn't care. She took out her wand and said a spell that undid her hair and removed her makeup. She got into the bed and waited for George. She watched as he unbuttoned his shirt and took it off. She watched as he put on his sweatpants and she smirked, seeing the obvious bulge through his sweatpants. George definitely had more than talking on his mind for tonight.
He laid down next to Alice and started talking. "You know I've liked you since you've walked into the Great Hall to get sorted. I saw your beautiful face and your amazing smile and I immediately had a crush on you. When we became friends I was so happy because I would get to spend more time with you. I thought you would never like me back or feel the same way that's why I never made a move. I thought if I made a move on you that you would reject me and it'd ruin our friendship. I couldn't lose you so I figured it'd be better if I never told you how I felt but tonight Katie proved something to me. She said that I should make a move but I said that you were my best friend and I couldn't lose you so I wouldn't do that but then she told me that people who are just friends don't look at each other the way we do and they don't do the things we do. I realized that it all made sense and I had to do something about it. So I followed you but when I saw you crying it hurt me so I wanted to make you feel better. I originally wanted to kiss you but I chickened out. Then when you started to walk away I thought that it was now or never and well you know what happened next." George explained leaving Alice in shock. She told him that as soon as she sat at Gryffindor table after being sorted and was introduced to him she had a crush on him. She explained how she really wanted to make a move like he did but didn't because she didn't want to ruin their friendship. George moved her hair out of her face and kissed her. It turned into them making out and George moving so he was on top of her. He looked at her for consent and she nodded. Soon their clothes were off and George was gentle with her. He made sure to put her pleasure first and he was very passionate. He made sure to leave hickey's and made sure he wasn't hurting her.
"Wow" was all George said when they finished. Alice giggled and turned to her side to look at him. George moved her hair from her face and smiled. "You were amazing Alice." George said with a smile. Alice said that he was too and that he was way better than Cedric which made George laugh. He pulled her into his chest and cuddled her. He soon got up and set up a bubble bath for her and carried her to the tub. He got in behind her and washed her hair. He helped clean her up and then took her out of the tub. They dried off and got redressed. When they got in bed George pulled her to his chest and said "Be mine?" and Alice smiled and said of course. George pulled her closer and held her tight. "I love you Alice." George said softly. "I love you too Georgie." Alice responded and closed her eyes. They both fell asleep, finally wrapped up under the covers as a couple.
