Alice had run away to the Weasley's at the end of her third year. She had enough of her brother and Molly welcomed her with open arms. However it was hard living in a small house where your constantly bumping into your crush. Alice was George's best friend and he was hers. They were closer than Alice and Fred were. Always talking late into the night, Alice sneaking into George's room after a nightmare or during a thunderstorm. The truth was though ever since Alice's first year she had a crush on the tall ginger jokester and to Alice he got cuter every year. No one knew about her crush, well Hermione did because well she knows everything. Alice was going to the Quidditch World Cup with them and that was something else to focus on than George with his red hair and chocolate brown eyes and his muscles that started showing. Alice was having a good morning until she bumped into George. He was leaving the bathroom with messy wet hair and grey sweatpants without a shirt. Alice almost passed out then and there. "Oh um I-I um I'm sorry I'll leave" Alice said quickly and ran off to Charlie's old room which became hers and started to freak out. Why do I always have to be awkward around him? It's just George. With his muscles and hair and- Alice snapped herself out of her thoughts and started to get ready for the day. Pulling out an orange t-shirt and black shorts with converse sneakers.
In Fred and George's Room;
George was still blushing from his early encounter with Alice. She was in her pajamas which consisted of a tank top that hugged her hourglass figure and blue shorts showing off her long tanned legs with stretch marks on her thighs. George noticed everything about Alice. Her beautiful blue eyes and long wavy pink hair with golden tints to it, her tanned skin that only darkened in summer, her hourglass figure, her small waist, her cute button nose and finally her rosy plump lips that he wanted to kiss so bad. Though George knew she would never feel the same and that hurt, badly. He got dressed in a tight t-shirt and jeans.
Downstairs in the Kitchen;
"Hey brother what took ya so long?!" Fred shouted. George just shrugged and sat down. A few seconds later Alice came downstairs and George looked her up and down. Alice saw this and they locked eyes before they both forced themselves to look away. Hermione noticed this and rolled her eyes wondering when in Merlin would they get together? After breakfast everyone gathered into the living room to talk about the plans for tomorrow. "Alright Weasley's and others listen up! We will be getting up and ready early tomorrow. I want you all dressed and packed by 4:35!" Arthur yelled out to everyone. Ron was especially annoyed with having to get up early. He stood up huffing and puffing as he left rolling his eyes. That night everybody was packed and ready to go preparing themselves for the morning to come.
The next morning was torture. Everyone was being dragged out of bed. Alice was about to go wake the twins only to find Fred getting ready to walk out. "Might wanna wake lover boy over there moaning and talking in his sleep about you 'oh Alice how I wish to hold you and kiss you' bit annoying really." Fred said with a chuckle and left the room throwing a wink at Alice before closing the door. Alice was now a blushing mess. Was it true what Fred said? That George talks about her in his sleep? Dreaming of her? No Fred was just making fun of her that's it. Alice walked over to George's bed to wake him and when she shook him he grabbed her wrist and pulled her onto the bed. He mumbled something about just 5 minutes of cuddles. Alice had struggled to get out of his strong grip to wake him although she really wanted to stay there. She had no choice but to slap him and that got him wide awake. Alice was laughing until George tackled her and started to tickle her which she hated. He soon stopped as he realized the situation they were in. He was on top of her and their faces were inches apart. If George had leaned down a bit more he would've been kissing her. He got off her and Alice stood up the both of them blushing. George started mumbling how he should get done and get his stuff together. Alice had awkwardly said bye and left blushing and wondering what would've happened if he had lent down just a bit.
About 30 minutes later they were all at the portkey with the Diggory's. George had gotten jealous of how Cedric greeted Alice. He had hugged her tightly and picked her up slightly making her giggle. That is what it took to put George in a bit of a sour mood. She only giggled when he did that and Cedric shouldn't have made her giggle the way George did. As soon as they got to the World Cup however George was back to normal. He was happy, joking, and laughing with Fred. They all went to their tent and set down their things. Hours later and it was time for the match to begin. Everyone was excited and Fred and George were making bets. As the game went on there were multiple cheers for Krum from Ron and louder cheers for the Irish coming from the twins. The Irish won and Ron went on a rant about how great Krum was and of course the twins were making fun of him. Alice joined in on the fun laughing and mocking Ron.
However the fun ended quickly and turned into panic and fear. Deatheaters had invaded the tenting area and all that was heard were screams of panic and fear along with the eerie chanting of Voldemort's followers. George grabbed Alice's hand but they were separated in the crowd. George lost Alice but he had no choice but to run or be trampled by the crowd.
Alice was alone and scared. She lost the Weasley's and was in a crowd of people running for the woods. She was more worried about Hermione since she was Muggleborn. Alice had tripped and fallen hitting her head knocking her unconscious.
Hours had passed and Alice was slowly coming back to consciousness but it was hard to because of the immense amount of pain she was in. Alice felt herself being picked up. She slowly opened her eyes and through her blurry vision she saw red hair and called out George's name. "No sorry love it's Bill. Don't worry your safe now I've got you." Bill's calming voice said and it was the last thing Alice heard before going unconscious in his arms again.
