Alice Prescott never meant to have a crush on her best friend. It just happened. She didn't mean to fall in love with the tall ginger jokester who made everything better. George never meant to fall in love with his best friend either. Everything wen...
It was January 20th and the day of the Champions Feast had finally come. Alice and the girls were getting ready along with Fleur, who had been invited by Alice. The boys were getting done in their dorm and also helping Ron with his anxiety. Harry had also been a nervous wreck. For one Rita Skeeter would be there and for two the Weasley's and the Malfoy's didn't have the best relationship. He was mostly worried about Rita Skeeter knowing she would be bothering him and also for Draco's sake. No one knew he was gay except for his mother, Aunt Andromeda and both his friends and Harry's. He was terrified Lucius Malfoy would find out. But he also knew that Mrs. Weasley was a mama bear and would do anything to protect her children and their partners. Alice was excited for this day. Mrs. Weasley would finally know about her and George and that made her happy. She had also been a bit anxious and that had made her nauseous. All the stress from the tournament has been making me feel so nauseous and sick. I should talk to Madam Pomfrey. Alice thought to herself thinking a potion would make her feel better. Fleur had been having a feeling that something was different with Alice. Being a Veela she knew certain things but she couldn't figure out what was new with Alice. She had been glancing at Alice every now and again. "Fleur what's wrong. You've been looking at me like I'm trying to kill you." Alice said with a giggle. Fleur just shrugged and tilted her head. "I don't know why, but somezing zeems different about you." she said with a confused expression. Alice just smiled knowing that she was probably right. Alice had felt different for a few weeks after the ball. She knew it was the stress from her friends being in this deadly tournament. She had asked Fleur to tie up her dress for her and after she did she went and put on her heels and finished her hair. Alice's outfit:

"Elle est magnifique! (She's gorgeous)" Fleur exclaimed. Alice smiled and blushed slightly at the complement. "George is gonna wanna rip that off you as soon as he see's you." Hermione said shocking everyone since she had never made any comments like that before. Pansy smiled at her girlfriend while Alice looked toward her with a glare. "Dammit you broke Hermione!" Alice said starting to laugh. Hermione just rolled her eyes and kissed Pansy on the cheek. They were all ready and met the boys at the main staircase outside of the Great Hall. George's jaw dropped when he saw his girlfriend. He thought she was gorgeous but he couldn't say that because words couldn't express how beautiful she was. "Wow" was all he said making Alice smile. They entered the Great Hall and immediately spotted the Weasley's. It wasn't difficult to find them. Viktor only had his parents, Fleur had Gabrielle her parents and grandparents, Cedric had his parents and Cho and then there was a sea of redheads. All of the Weasley's were there, including Bill and Charlie who had gotten a day off from work just to support Harry. They had gotten some confused looks from Molly and Arthur. Harry walked up to Molly and was immediately pulled into a hug. When she let him go Harry decided it was time to explain why Draco was there. "Mrs. Weasley, Mr. Weasley this is my boyfriend." Harry said a bit quietly but both Molly and Arthur heard him. Draco held his hand out to shake hands with the both of them. He shook hands with Arthur but when he got to Molly he was pulled into a hug. He was hesitant to respond, since he never really had this affection from his own parents but he hugged back. When he pulled away Molly smiled and he smiled back, Arthur put his hand on Draco's shoulder. "Welcome to the family son." he said with a smile. Draco was shocked and almost in tears. He had thought that they'd hate him and reject him but instead he was welcomed and he felt the parental love he never had. Hermione had come clean about Pansy, who was also hugged immediately. They had all sat down, some confused as to why Blaise was there. They figured it was because he was Draco and Pansy's friend. Ron had decided to come out. He had a whole thing planned on how to tell them and he was ready. "I have to tell you something mum." Ron said hesitantly. Molly and the rest of the Weasley's looked at him waiting for what he had to say. "I'm a bicycle!" he practically yelled. His plan failed and he panicked. Alice put her head in her hands while Fred and George started to laugh. Molly, Arthur, Bill and Charlie were left confused. "I-I mean bisexual and this is my boyfriend." Ron said pointing to Blaise, who smiled and waved. Molly smiled and shook his hand. Everything was going good until Skeeter arrived. She immediately went over to the Weasley's and started questioning them on many things, including why there were Slytherins with them. She happened to see Pansy and Hermione holding hands. "Oh and what's this! Enemies to Lovers that'll be a story!" she said while her self writing quill was writing it down. Pansy almost lost it and Molly was about to slap the woman for invading her family's privacy. Pansy snapped and immediately stood up. "So I'm a pureblood lesbian who's dating a muggleborn! So what! It's a thing and I'm happy! At least I'm not a cougar like you! I've seen how you looked at some Durmstrang 7th years!" Pansy yelled causing Skeeter to be taken a bit back but her quill wrote everything except the last part. Pansy's outburst had startled them all but Molly was proud of her for standing up for what she believed in. Since her outburst Skeeter had stayed away from them, making everyone happy. Everyone was talking about something different. Draco was currently mesmerized by learning about dragons from Charlie, Pansy had been talking to Bill about career advice, Molly was talking about how happy she was that her children were happy with their partners and how excited she was to knit sweaters for them and Hermione was explaining how a toaster worked to a very interested Blaise and Arthur. Harry, Ron, Fred, George and Alice were talking about the tournament and how they couldn't wait for quidditch to start again. Luna was talking about different creatures and nargles to Ginny who was smiling and looking lovingly at her, listening to every word. The feast was coming to an end and it was time to say goodbye. They were all hugging and saying goodbye. When no one was looking Molly had slipped something to George, whispering something only he could hear which made him smile and hug his mother tightly. "Now Draco, Pansy, Blaise you'll be getting your sweaters tomorrow in the post." Molly said smiling. They were confused as to what she was talking about. Harry smiled and explained to them that every Christmas they got homemade sweaters with their initial on it. They all smiled and thanked her, Draco never feeling happier than in that moment. They all headed to their dorms, the Slytherins saying goodbye to them. They had to study for Transfiguration and couldn't go to the Gryffindor common room. When the rest entered the Gryffindor common room the girls' heels were off even before the entered the common room. "And now we celebrate Alice's birthday!" George said loudly. Alice's birthday was the day before but she didn't like celebrating it considering her parents died almost two weeks after her first birthday. Alice sighed and rolled her eyes but smiled and kissed George. Fred had gone upstairs and came back down a few moments later with a bottle of wine. He poured out a glass for everyone including his 13 year old sister who he knew shouldn't be drinking and that his mother would kill him if she ever found out. "Our little secret Gin" Fred said to her. George went to hand a glass to Alice who politely declined. When he asked her why she said that she wasn't feeling like herself and thought she might be coming down with something. George understood and kissed her forehead with a promise of cuddles later on. After a few minutes of celebrating Professor McGonagall came in and they quickly tried to hide the wine. "Now I'll keep the underage drinking a secret but only if I have a glass and celebrate with you." is all she said leaving them in shock. They thought they'd get major house point deductions or detention or both. Instead she let it slip by and had a glass of wine to celebrate Alice's 15th birthday. They were all chatting and after McGonagall had finished her glass of wine she stood up and pulled out a small box from her cloak. "These were your mothers. I thought it was time you had them." she said handing the box to Alice. When she opened the box she smiled and had tears in her eyes. In the box were a pair of earrings that she saw her mother wear in almost every picture she saw of her.

"Thank you so much" Alice said starting to cry while hugging her professor. She couldn't have been happier, now she had her mother with her whenever she wore them. George took the box and smiled when he saw them. "These are beautiful. When did she get these?" George asked genuinely curious. McGonagall explained that Alice's mother had received them from her grandmother and that it was a family heirloom. George smiled and kissed Alice. "She had great taste love." he said to her. Alice smiled at him and hugged him tightly. McGonagall left and the small party continued until the rest of the Gryffindors came back from Hogsmede. It was late and they all decided to finally go to bed. Alice stayed with George yet again and wore his t-shirt to bed as she normally did. George cuddled her saying how much fun it was and funny it was when Ron called himself a bicycle. They talked for a bit longer, Alice telling George about her parents from the stories Ted and Andromeda had told her. George smiled as he listened to Alice speak of her parentswith such happiness in her voice. They soon fell asleep cuddled up while the rain had started to come down.
