"If you cant trust anyone else, trust God"

"Look, we're all mature adults now and this ignoring game has to stop, which is why I brought you and your mother here" my dad said. We were all seated st some five star restaurant somewhere in town.

"I'm sixteen, far from an adult" I said.

"She speaks-" my dad commented.

This whole thing was weird. Being here, with both my parents felt weird. Knowing that they are together is even worse. How is this even humanly possible?I have so many questions that need answers.

"How long have you guys been seeing each other for?" I asked.

"Look honey, the important thing is that we lo-" I didn't even wait for her to finish the sentence. I stood up and packed my contents inside my bag.

"Ever since your birthday, when Langa planned that surprise for you. Things happened that day..." my father said.

"What the hell!?" I whisper shouted, not wanting to grab the attention of the people seated.

"Sit down and let's talk this out as a family, we thought that you'd be happy" my mom tries to reason.

I sat down and placed my bag back on the table.

"Happy? You thought I would be Happy?" I started of.

"They are people involved in your lives. Both of you are married, vows, rings and everything. How am I supposed to even trust you?" I asked.

"Listen-"

"I'm not done yet. I have one question for you ma, is James even Robert's son?" I asked.

"You're getting out of hand now-"

"You're one to talk. Your wife is at home. Pregnant. With a baby. Here you are playing happy family with your side chick who is also pregnant. Get your priorities right. You can talk to me when you have it all figured out" I said.

They both looked at everything, except for me. You could see the guilt evident is their actions.

"Is there a problem here?" Someone asked, I'm assuming it was the manager.

"No. I was just leaving" I said with a smile on my face.

I walked out of the restaurant. I need to get back to eNdwedwe. I don't think I can be in the same car as mom again. That ride alone was dreadful.

I took a taxi to the mall and decided to walk inside I did the thing that I do the most when I'm stressed.

Shop for Mihlali.

I pushed the trolley and made my way towards the exit. I think I need to get myself a man with a car.

Laugh.

As I was walking out of the mall, I bumped into someone I haven't seen in quite some time. I avoided meeting their stare but they so happened to scream out my name.

Damn.

"SIPHOOOOO"

"ADAAAA! OVER HERE" I tried speed walking but that was not an option because that encouraged the person to scream even louder.

The person walked towards me and pulled me into a hug.

"Did you not hear me call you from across the room?"

Shawn.

You guys have to remember Shawn. My boyfriend, drives a Gusheshse and also saw it fit to leave me in a restaurant after he claims that I've been playing his heart like an arcade game
