Why did I have to include Newt in this oh my god I'm falling for himmm

We entered the building together but then were quickly separated into boys and girls going through separate doors. Inside, there was a row of bathroom stalls. The people went inside one by one, but no one returned. Hermione and I looked at each other, entering stalls that were next to one another.

I went inside. There was no secret button or magic lever. That's when I noticed another person beside me rise higher than the wall of the stall, it looked like they had stepped on the toilet. I heard a flush and the disappeared out of view.

Hermione and I also stepped on the toilet. "You're supposed to step inside." Hermione hissed.

"We flush ourselves?" I gagged as I stepped in the toilet water, my shoes getting wet.

"Apparently so." Hermione stated. I heard her flush and she was gone.

"This is bloody disgusting." I said as I leaned down and flushed the toilet. I felt myself spin and a moment later I appeared out of a fireplace of some sort. My shoes were no longer wet. Hermione was waiting for me and we stood together waiting for the boys to show up.

Some man came over and stood close by, about to whisper something when I pushed him off. "What the hell do you think you're doing?" I said, backing away. Instead, he just laughed.

"Bloody hell Y/N, it's Harry." Harry said. I had forgotten what he looked like. Two more men came and joined us.

"Newt...and Ron..." I pointed to make sure I had them right. They nodded. We all walked inside an elevator to discuss our next plan.

"Right so...where do you think we'll find-"

"-Cattermole!" A voice sounded. A man strode straight up to Ron.

"It's still raining in my office. Two days now." The man complained.

"Really? Have you tried an umbrella?" Ron replied. The man eyed Ron curiously, then leaned forward menacingly.

"You do realize I'm on my way downstairs, don't you, Cattermole?" He sneered.

"Downstairs...?" Poor Ron had no idea.

"To interrogate your wife! If my wife's blood status were in doubt and the Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement needed a job doing, I think I'd make it a priority. You've got one hour." The man demands. The lift came to a stop and the man left.

"Oh my god. What am I going to do? My wife's all alone downstairs?" Ron said.

"Ron. You don't have a wife." Newt said.

"Oh right." Ron said.

"Look, we'll go with you-" Harry started.

"No, that's mad. You two find Umbridge. I'll be fine. But how do I stop it raining?" Ron asked.

"Try Finite Incantatem. Of course, if something's gone wrong with an Atmospheric Charm-" Hermione started to answer when the lift stopped once more.

"This is me." Ron said stepping out. "Finite Incantatem, okay. And if that doesn't work...?" But before Hermione can respond the golden grilles of the lift closed.

"I say if we don't locate Umbridge within the hour, we go find Ron and come back another day. Deal?" Newt said. We all nodded. The grilles clang opened again and we all froze. Her neck enwrapped in a fuzzy pink scarf, is Umbridge. She looked up from the clipboard in her hand and saw Hermione and me.

"Ah, Mafalda and Deborah! Hopkins sent you, did he? Good. We'll go straight down." Umbridge said, taking her place next to Hermione. She went to go push the button when she eyed Harry and Newt. "Albert and David, aren't you two getting out?" Harry and Newt nodded and stepped out.

We followed Umbridge, walking through a series of hallways and rooms. Umbridge frequently stopped to talk to people and all Hermione and I had to do was nod. Hopefully Harry and Newt would have the chance to snoop around and find the locket.

Finally, we arrived to the courtroom where Hermione and I sat on either side of Umbridge. As people started settling a woman was brought into the room. She sat in a simple chair in the center, looking frail.

"Mary Elizabeth Cattermole?" Umbridge asked. A few people joined the audience below, some of which I recognized to be Ron, Harry, and Newt.

"Yes." The woman replied.

"A wand was taken from you upon your arrival at the Ministry today, Mrs. Cattermole. Would you please tell the court from which witch or wizard you took this wand." Umbridge asked. While doing so, she removed the scarf she was wearing. Harry's eyes lit up and he noticed something. He gave a quick motion to his neck.

"But I didn't take it. I got it in Diagon Alley, at Ollivander's, when I was eleven. It chose me." The woman answered. Umbridge leaned forward, and while doing so, something hung off by her neck. It was the locket. Ron stared at it dumbstruck. Hermione caught her breath. I watched as Harry reached into his pocket...

"No, no, I don't think so, Mrs. Cattermole. Wands only choose witches. And you are not a witch." Umbridge continued.

"But I am! Tell them, Reg! Tell them what I am!" The woman looks at Ron. Ron starts to speak, but Umbridge's gaze shifts to Harry, who's wand is rising in his hand...and pointed at her.

"What the devil are you doing, Albert?" Umbridge asks. The polyjuice potion falters for a moment, and Harry's true face ripples.

"You're lying. And one mustn't tell lies, Dolores... Stupefy!" Harry shouted. The whole room erupted in chaos. Umbridge slumped in her chair and I took the locket off her neck. People muttered all around us...Harry Potter...that's Harry Potter...Is that really Potter?

"They've seen you." Hermione said as we all met up.

"We have to go." Newt said, grabbing my arm as we all run out. We made for the atrium where the fireplaces were. But on the way, we got separated. It was Newt and I alone sprinting through a corridor. Newt's disguise was falling quick as I'm sure was mine as well. On the other end of the hallway, I saw the dreaded Lucius Malfoy coming.

"We need to hide!" I hissed, looking for some sort of door. But the hallway had nothing. Newt pushed me to the side, putting one hand on the wall beside me, hiding me from view. "That's not going to hide us." I whispered.

"I'm thinking..." Newt whispered back. His disguise had completely fallen off by now. I heard Lucius come closer and closer. That's when a stupidly brilliant idea hit me. I grabbed Newt's face gently. He realized what my plan was. Nobody liked PDA.

He was the first to lean in. His lips brushed mine, but as Lucius walked closer I intensified the kiss. He kissed back with just as much passion. His lips were soft against mine as a warm feeling glowed in my stomach. I didn't even notice Lucius until he scoffed and walked past. We parted.

"You've been wanting to do that for a while now, haven't you?" Newt smirked.

"I did what I had to." I said, and despite my blush, I pulled him to start running. We arrived at the atrium where the rest of our group already was.

"Seal the exits! Now!" A voice shouted. We all glanced at each other, splitting off and making for the fireplaces. As someone fires on us, one fireplace after another seals itself. As we reach the last open grate, we pitch ourselves as one onto the polished marble floor. Spells sailed over our heads and we go sliding inside.

As we fall into darkness, I glance back and watch a man pitch himself into the void just before a solid block of granite drops sealing the fireplace and plunging the man and all of us into total darkness.

A whirlwind tossed us as the man reached out for Hermione's robe. The door of Grimmauld Place rushed forward, but it was just as easily replaced by a burst of purple light. I hear a tortured scream.

And the next thing I know, I'm lying in on the forrest floor.
