The song above is nice to listen to while you read:)

---6 months after the War---

Hermione strung me along her arm. She said she wanted to meet up today and she was very peculiar in what I had to wear. I showed up in jeans and shirt and she barged into my home, picking out my clothes.

After much rummaging of my closet, she picked out a simple lime dress.

I changed and then we were off

I changed and then we were off. She took me to the dock which was peculiar because I thought we were going shopping at the mall.

"Oh, you know what Y/N, I forgot something in the car, just go down the dock and I'll meet you there." She rushed back.

I shrugged and continued my way to the dock. Now that the sun was setting, it set a golden, dark glow upon the water. There were golden lights accented on the dock. Had they always been here?

I walked forward until I saw someone standing in the little shed-like area at the end

I walked forward until I saw someone standing in the little shed-like area at the end. I continued walking until I saw who it was. "Edmund?"

He turned around. He himself was in a casual suit, with a matching lime green tie. He had his hands behind his back and for once in his life he looked nervous. "Ed you okay?" I asked, walking up to him.

"Yeah yeah, I just...." He dropped down to one knee and I took a step back.

"Um, Y/N. I know we've both been through a lot, and uh, I've had a rough and dark past....but I believe you were my light in those times. You helped me pass that and I don't know where I would be without you. I honestly don't think I deserve someone like you, but I'd rather face rejection rather than miss the chance of spending my whole life with you. So I guess what I'm getting at is...will you marry me?"

He stood up but continued to look at the ground. I walked up to him, wrapping my hands around his neck, making him look up at me. "Edmund Pevensie, forget a lifetime, I'd spend eternity with you."

I leaned forward to meet his lips with mine. As he pulled me closer, I could feel him smiling through the kiss. Suddenly confetti burst all around us and our friends came over congratulating us. This had to be the best day ever.
