Pretty sure it's one of my longest chapters yet, I didn't feel like making a part 1 and 2 cause I didn't want to keep you all waiting so here it is, a 2-in-1 chapter.
"Why do I have to be Bellatrix?" I asked, fitting myself into the clothes Fleur provided.
"Because, all respect to Hermione, she can't pull it off like you can, and you two are the only females capable, process of elimination, bam it's you." Newt talked quickly wearing a cowboy hat. He put on a fake mustache as well, downing a whole new persona (imagine Benny Watts from Queen's Gambit).
Edmund and Hermione were dressing up as my assistants, Newt being a foreign ambassador, and Ron, Harry, and Griphook hid under the invisibility cloak. I looked down at the sloshing polyjuice potion. "Where'd you even get her hair?" I asked drinking it completely. She tasted disgusting.
"It fell on my coat when she was torturing me." Hermione said simply. I felt my skin shift and closed my eyes until the transformation was complete. I looked down at my new self.
"How do I look?" I asked. Edmund slowly walked up to me.
"That is YOU in there right?" He joked. I rolled my eyes as we all held hands, getting ready to apparate.
We landed in Diagon Alley. It was surprisingly quiet. We started walking towards the building. I strode in front, my heels clacking on the cobblestone path.
"Madam Lestrange." A passing wizard said. All I did was look coldly at him, acknowledging his presence, but nothing more.
"You're a natural." Newt nudged me as we continued walking. I noticed he had changed his accent to be American. We continued walking until we approached the white towering building. We mounted the steps, entering inside.
In front of us was a vast marble hall with a long counter, goblins were perched on high stools. Wizard Guards were positioned throughout. As the door closed behind us, the room returned to its eerie silence. I took a breath in and walked forward, stepping to the long counter, where an aged goblin scribbled in his ledger.
"Identification." He squeaked.
"I hardly think that will be necessary." I responded. The goblin sighed then looked up, then immediately changed his attitude.
"Madam Lestrange! Dear me! How may I help you today?" He asked.
"I wish to enter my vault." I replied.
"I see. Very well. Excuse me, won't you? "The goblin slipped off his stool, and went to consult with another, even more ancient goblin.
"I don't like to be kept waiting." I said, my tone was harsh, authoritative. The aged goblin who continued to consult with the one known as Bogrod. Bogrod said something and they both glanced at me. Bogrod then walked up to me.
"Madam Lestrange. Would you mind presenting your wand?" He asked.
"And why should I do that?" I asked. I heard a scuffle and out of the corner of my eye I saw a guard start to approach us.
I think they knew.
"t's the bank's policy. I'm sure you understand, given the current climate-" Bogrod continued.
"-No, I most certainly do not understand." I stood my ground. Bogrod shook his head and moved towards me when a gust of wind filled the Hall, sending the ledgers trembling again. Everyone looked towards the entrance and I watched as Harry arm slips out of the cloak ever so slightly, pointing it at Bogrod.
Bogrod blinked. "Very well, Madam Lestrange. If you will follow me." I followed him while the aged goblin stuttered. "B-but the special instructions..."
