Guys I just saw my own book in my Wattpad recommendations LMAO

also I want to make sure to do justice to the ending, because I rushed it in my DracoXreader book and I didn't want to do that here

so the chapters are twice their usual size but more detailed

The diadem hissed and erupted, throwing me back once more. I groaned as I tried to sit up. My friends coughed and sputtered around me. Edmund helped Tewkesbury up.

"Been some time." Edmund smiled.

"Yeah, I finally escaped him then tried to find you guys. It was so difficult because of all the charms and such, courtesy of Hermione," Tewkesbury smiled at her which made her smile back. Ah Tewkesbury, always the charmer, "then I eventually gave up and decided that sooner or later you'd come back to Hogwarts to find the last Horcrux."

I took Edmund's help to stand. "You know about the Horcruxes?" I asked Tewkesbury.

"Yeah, and I also know there's another one. It's the snake. She's the last one." Tewkesbury said. Everyone grew quiet.

"Where will he take her?" Edmund asked.

"Someplace safe." I guessed.

"No." Draco spoke up. Blaise was behind him.

"You're joining them?" Blaise asked. Draco looked back at him, giving a curt nod, then turned back to us. "He'll keep her close, I'm sure of it." Blaise looked around, and for a moment I thought he was going to run away, but he stood his ground next to Draco.

I turned to Harry. "Look inside him, Harry. Find out where he is. If we find him, we find the snake. Then we're one step closer to ending this." Harry looked at me, then nodded.

"Okay..." He mumbled, closing his eyes. For a moment there was no expression on his face. Then his eyelids danced with movement. He reached up to his scar, wincing in pain, falling back to the ground. Ron stepped forward but I stopped him.

"It'll take a minute, let him concentrate." I said. I always wondered why Harry had this connection with Tom. It had something to do with his scar, but I couldn't quite place it.

Harry gasped on the floor as his eyes fluttered open. He pulled himself to his feet. "I know where he is."

"Blaise and I will hold the fight here." Draco said.

"Thanks Draco." I said sincerely, following Harry who already started to jog away, along with Ed, Tewks, Ron and Hermione.

We all started running, with Harry leading the way. We ran out into the courtyard and I finally got a firsthand sight at the true carnage that the battle had ensued. Hogwarts, my home, my precious Hogwarts was in flames. Students and staff traded spells with Death Eaters.

We battled through it all. I saw friends fighting...and falling all around me. I even caught a glimpse of Cedric. I had forgotten all about him. I was glad to see him here. An explosion sounded and we were thrown off our feet. Tewkesbury urged me to keep going as we stood up and continued on.

As I saw carnage all around me, a sudden familiarization dawned over me. The events that were playing out...I felt like I had seen them before...

As we ran through the courtyard, a giant troll raised his club and came smashing down. Edmund pulled me down under a series of pipes...like the troll incident in our First Year.

We continued running and came across a swarm of spiders crawling towards us. Ron whimpered. The spiders reminded me of the encounter with Aragog and his "brothers" in our Second Year. I shot spells at the swarm as we ran past those.
