A Hero's Nightmare

Chapter 1

My name is Izuku Midoriya! And I'm gonna become the number 1 hero! I live in a world where 80% of the population have quirks or abilities. Of course, there are people who use their quirks for evil, so to defeat those people and keep the public safe, others use their quirks for good. All Might was the number one hero until he was forced into retirement after fighting All For One. He was the symbol of peace before he retired he gave his power to me. So I need to become the next symbol of peace for the world!

"Bakugou please sit down! Class is going to start soon!" Iida shouts at Bakugou. He's the class rep so he's always keeping the class in the order in place of Mr. Aizawa.

"Fuck off four-eyes! I do what I want!" Kacchan screams for probably the 50th time today. And it's only 8:35 in the morning.

"Bakubro! Calm down! It's early in the morning!"

"Shut up Shitty Hair! Nobody fucking asked you!"

"Good morning Kacchan!"

"Don't fucking talk to me Deku!" He's always yelling at me. But it's alright. Ever since we had that fight we've been sorta kinda getting along. Right now he's my rival. We're both fighting to become the number 1 hero. And for sure I'm going to win!

"Good Morning Midoriya!" I hear a cheery voice call out to me.

"Good morning Uraraka!" She's one of the first friends I made here at UA. She helped me in the exams and we've been friends ever since then. She's like my best friend here. And I may or may not have a small little crush on her. Nothing too big though...just a small l-little c-crush..

"Good morning Midoriya,"

"Good morning Todoroki!" Todoroki is another friend I've made here at UA. We had a rough start but we're close friends now!

"Alright everyone sit down," Mr. Aizawa walks in front of the class. Everyone makes their way to their seats. He takes a deep breath, almost like something is burdening him.

"It has come to our attention that there is a traitor among us in UA," Everyone in the class gasps and starts to talk among themselves. A traitor? In UA? Well, it definitely could be possible. I mean how would the Leauge of Villians know where we are all the time? That's classified information that only teachers and students involved know about. So then..who is it?

"Everyone quiet!" Everyone quickly stops talking and looks to the front.

"We have concluded that it is someone in this class. It isn't any of the staff as we are sworn to secrecy and under legal contracts," So it's someone in class 1-A? That makes sense. It only ever affected our class.

"While you all were on your way to the school we did a sweep of your rooms to find evidence of who the possible traitor could be. And we found some very concrete evidence," They know who the traitor is? Well that'll cause a lot less headache then. So we can quickly get back to becoming pro heroes.

"Get all your stuff and go back to the dorms. We'll do the reveal and make the arrest there. We don't want to scare the rest of the students," We all gather our things up and start heading back to the dorms. Once we get back we put our stuff in our dorms and come back down to the common room to hear who the traitor is. I know for a fact who it isn't. It isn't me, Kacchan, Uraraka, Todoroki, Iida, Kirishima, Denki, or Sero. Who would be really suspicious would be Aoyama or Hagakure. Those two are like mysteries to the rest of us. Koda doesn't even talk but we know more about him than we do those two.

Mr. Aizawa along with Principle Nezu, All Might, Hawks, and Present Mic is standing in the common room. I sit next to Uraraka, Todoroki, and Iida. Once everyone is in the common area and sitting down. The pros start talking.

"Hello, Young Students. Eraserhead has probably already informed you of a traitor congregating with us. We searched all your rooms and found this," Hawks pulled out a few burner phones and a journal. The burner phone must be for contacting members of the league. But I wonder....what's in the journal?

"In this journal are plans from the league. For example here," Hawks opens the journal to a page that reads "Bakugou joins league FAILED" That must've been the plan they had for Kacchan to join them. But it failed. Hawks continued to show us pages of the book. It showed a lot of the plans that failed or succeeded and notes of the people in the class and their quirks. The notes about their quirks reminded me a lot of my own..The only people I ever showed my notes to was Uraraka and Todoroki. But it can't be them.

"Where did you find these items?" Uraraka asks. The heroes glare at her. That was rude. It was just a simple question that all of us are wondering.

"Well, Uraraka that's a funny question from you," What is Mr. Aizawa trying to say? Is he trying to say that Uraraka is the traitor? She can't be the traitor!

"Huh?"

"We found these items in your room Young Uraraka. Would you like to explain?" Uraraka pales. They were found in her room? Yeah, that's damning evidence but that can't be right. I'm 100% positive that it isn't her. There must be something that the heroes are missing.

"I-in my room? It's not me!" Mr. Aizawa sighs.

"That's exactly what an imposter would say," Uraraka stands up.

"No! It's not me! I swear!" It's not her. It can't be her. I mean yeah all the evidence points to her but I refuse to believe it's her. She had to be set up..

"Sir it's not Uraraka!"

"Young Midoriya-"

"No! All Might it's not her! I know its not!"

"Midoriya they found the evidence in her room. And that's pretty good evidence," Todorki tries to calm me down. I won't calm down. I know it's not Uraraka. She has no reason to do this!

"Listen kid, you can let your personal feelings interfere,"

"But it's not her! What would her motive be?"

"Money," Kacchan answers simply.

"No! I wouldn't ever join the League of Villians for money! You have to believe me!" Uraraka is crying now.

"Well Young Uraraka, we found these in your room. So you'll have to come with us,"

"No..please..it isn't me! I swear it isn't!" She turns around to face the class. "Does anyone believe me! Momo?" Momo looks away with tears in her eyes.

"Please..Tsu?" Tsu opens her mouth to say something but nothing comes out. Instead, she breaks down into tears.

"Iida? Todoroki?" They both just look away.

"Anyone?" Her voice is cracking. I can't let this happen..but yet I can't say anything. What am I gonna say? She turns towards me with tears now streaming down her face.

"Deku.." Can I let this happen? Am I really gonna let an innocent person get punished for a crime they didn't commit? No. I'm not. That's not what being a hero is about. The pros just missed something. And I'm gonna find what they missed.

"I'll find the true traitor Uraraka. I know it's not you," She smiles at me while the tears continue to fall down her cheeks.

"Thank you Deku.."

"C'mon it's time to go," Hawks handcuffs Uraraka and takes her away. All the pro heroes leave besides All Might and Mr. Aizawa.

"This is probably very stressful for all of you considering many of you were close with Uraraka. You don't have to go to school for the week. We'll have counselors on speed dial for those who need it. Take it easy this week,"

"Mr. Aizawa?"

"Yes Midoriya?"

"What's gonna happen to Uraraka?" Aizawa's face falls. It's not good, whatever is gonna happened to her.

"Well..she's going to be put on trial..and with this evidence she'll be convicted and exicuted" E-e-exicuted? I can't let that happen. She's innocent! I swallow the lump in my throat.

"When will this happen?"

"By the end of the week,"
