Excerpt of last chapter because it's been a while.

He folded his paper down into a small square and slipped it into his pants pocket. He took a deep breath and once again looked up at the audience. He knew this wouldn't be easy, grieving a loved one's death isn't and will never be easy. With this in mind, he let a gentle yet pained smile rest on his face. This was his last goodbye to his friends and his beloved, and he was going to be genuine with them. As that's the manly thing to do.

Start of chapter 14

"Bakugou Katsuki, my co-worker, my best friend, my husband. He was someone who many didn't understand. I remember back when we were in UA, a lot of people called him 'villainous' and 'harsh'. Though he may have been a little rough around the edges, he truly cared for his friends and family. He was always there for all of us. Whenever one of us needed tutoring or training he would help us. He'd usually hit us with a newspaper whenever we got something wrong," Eijiro chuckled as he remembered all their tutoring sessions before he started to speak again. "He always watched over all of us. Kinda like he was our guard. I remember the time our friend group went to the mall together. Some guy was messing with Mina who you all probably know as Pinky. The dude wouldn't leave Mina alone and so Kat scared him off for her."

Eijiro looked down at his feet for a second. So many memories of their friend group were rushing through his mind like a movie. He'd have to admit it was a little overwhelming. There were so many stores he could tell. He could honestly stand here all day and talk about all their adventures, inside jokes, hang out spots, study sessions, and so much more. As he thought about it more, the less memorable he felt and a bit more sadness fell upon him. It occurred to him that not only have they lost Kat, but they've lost Denki as well. He took a deep breath before slowly looking up to the crowd again.

"There was also another time, we were all on the field of doing real hero work in our 3rd year of attending UA. Our dear friend Denki, whom you all know as the brave hero whose life we are also celebrating today as Chargebolt, he used his quirk a little too much and fizzed out. Others who we were working with decided to poke fun at him. And Kat well..as he would put it 'I'm the only one who can mess with you dumbasses.' So he walked up to them and as calmly as you can all imagine, blew them up." Some people in the crowd let out some laughs as they remembered the hero's explosive personality.

"Katsuki was truly a blessing to those around him. He carried himself in a way that I can only describe as super manly. He was my first crush, my first kiss, my first boyfriend, and my one and only loving husband. And though it hurts that we had to be separated at such a young age. I can only hope that we'll meet again in the afterlife. Kat I love you so much and I can't wait to meet again my love, With his last statement, Eijiro let the tears finally fall. Claps and whistling were heard coming from the crowd. Flashes went off in front of him as we walked away from the podium and off the stage back to his seat.

He was lightly sobbing to himself in his seat. It's the first time the press or anyone outside his friends and family had ever seen him cry like this. Despite his speech before, the press and news stations were trying to get as much of the crying hero as they possibly could. Mina and Hanta were quick to be by their friend's side and shield him from the press as much as they could. Once he had taken a deep breath and had calmed down, he looked back up at the podium where Tenya and Aoi were speaking about Shoto. Tenya had just finished his bit and asked Aoi if he would like to say anything.

Aoi shyly nodded his head and Tenya held him up so he could reach the microphone. The young child was fiddling with his fingers, this probably being the first time he's ever spoken in front of this many people.

"My papa was the coolest hero ever..and I wanna be just like him when I grow up! I hope you hear me papa, I love you," he finished as he started to heavily sob. The crowd felt sympathy for the child. He lost his father at such a young age, it must be hard for him.
