I got up from the bed and headed downstairs after hearing the loud bang coming from the main door of the house.

I walked down, a little afraid of what I was gonna face next but my steps came to a halt when I found no one in the living room. I looked over at the open door, which was welcoming the chilly air from outside.

Why was the door open?

I walked out before quickly grabbing a jacket that was laying on the couch and the scent told me it was Jungkook's.

I didn't mind it and just ran out of the huge house. I looked around to find someone or something that must've caused the sound and noticed a tipsy person walking away towards the opposite side of the house.

I could only see the person's back and it was enough for me to make out who it was. The bed hair, the oversized black hoodie, and the slim body. It was Jungkook.

Didn't he say that one time that he doesn't like drinking? What made it so hard that he had to drink?

I walked back and locked the door of our house as quick as possible and followed the drunk boy.

I didn't want to seem like a stalker so I just followed him from a distance and walked at the corners so he wouldn't notice.

He was stumbling but trying his best to walk in a straight line.

"E I E I O~" I chuckled when I heard him lazily humming the infamous children's rhyme.

He walked on and on without a stop while humming some rhymes, pop songs and mumbling some coherent words in between, making me smile and chuckle from time to time.

I followed him without making any noise. He'd probably be surprised if he spots me out of nowhere.

His eyes were fixed on the ground as he walked further. Was he sleepy?
Soon I noticed a tall and obese man probably in his 40s walking on the same road and accidentally bumping into Jungkook while walking towards his opposite direction.

"Hey can't you see?" He yelled at Jungkook who looked like a tiny kid next to him. Jungkook didn't reply and continued staring at the ground. Was he even hearing anything? Did he really sleep while standing?

"Hey! I'm talking to you, kid!" He grabbed Jungkook's shoulders and forced him to look up at him.

Something about this made me boil with anger. I glared at the man one last time and walked over to them without hesitating.

As soon as I got to them, I harshly pulled away his hand from Jungkook's shoulder and stood between them. I couldn't remember being this angry in a long time.

I mean, it was pretty obvious.
I hadn't spoken properly to this little bunny for a week and this random dude suddenly walks up and starts shaking his shoulder to talk to him? What the actual fuck.

"I'm sorry from his side, mister. But you should've also paid attention." I blurted out, trying very hard to not glare at the giant man in front of me.

"A drunk kid is roaming around and a sane kid is defending him. Great going!" He huffed and walked away, leaving me and Jungkook the only people on the empty road.

I couldn't care less about his mocking remark since he was right in a way. A drunk Jungkook was roaming around on the road. He could get in trouble very easily. Also, thank god that man didn't recognize me.

I looked around and found Jungkook stumbling in his way forward, leaving me behind. Gosh.

I groaned and caught up with him quickly. He passed me a glance and that was the first time I saw his face after I started following him.
