Zenon

We quickly got out of the car when I felt its engine stop in the middle of the road. Fortunately, the road we stop by is opposite in the big city mall atleast we have somewhere to hide.

Balak na sana namin pumasok sa loob ng makitang nakasarado pa ang pinto nito na gawa sa salamin. "Tabi!"

I heard Thorn shout loudly once he hit the glass hard with the huge rock he was holding. Pumasok na kami agad dito.

"Do you think it's a good idea to come in here? What if there were more zombies here!?"  Jasmine shouted out of nowhere without knowing if there's a zombie or not.

"Oo nga, What if we die here?" Rinig kong sabi ni Azalea. Hindi naman sa ano. Pero wala ba silang tiwala kay Thorn?

"Bakit, sa tingin niyo ba may paraan pa para makaalis rito?"  Thorn answered seriously.

"You can think a new way, right? You are exclusively known as smart and genius kid. Your parents are even proud of you. Why don't you use it now? Show your talent!" Napakunot ang noo ko sa pinapakitang ugali ni Jasmine.

Ngayon ko lang siya nakitang ganiyan. Padalos dalos siya sa mga nilalabas niyang mga salita. Jasmine is not like that I met or we met.

Jasmine is the very modest and the role model one to the three of them. She was just quiet and can't even cussed on someone. She will not let herself say hurtful words to other people because she thinks about it before saying it. She's also a cry baby who likes kikay thingy in conclusion mahiyain at napakahinhin. So I don't know why she is like that right now.

"Hey, Jaz. Shut up already, please."  Tabitha said seriously. She is Jasmine's closest friend so I am not surprised that she is surprised by Jasmine's behavior now.

"And why should I be silent !? We're going to die, then you want me to keep quiet? Gumawa kayo ng paraan, t*ng*na."  Her eyes looked at us angrily, especially at Thorn who is just seriously looking for a way out.

"Alam mo jaz. Hindi ka na nakakatulong. Nagiging perwisyo ka na!"  I was shocked that Azalea slapped Jasmine and looked at her earnestly.

"At ako pa talaga ngayon!? Why did you do something? Not yet right? Puro ka lang naman salita!"

"Eh ano ka pa, tanga!" Ramdam na ramdam ko ang init ng mga ulo nila. Ngayon pa talaga nila naisip mag away. Kung kelan naman nasa delikado kaming sitwasyon.

"Halika na,bro. Hayan mo na sila. Malaki na sila para mag isip kung ano ang dapat gawin."  Tabitha said to me and took my hand to leave where we were standing earlier.

"Siguro nga."  We left and followed Thorn. I just shrugged my shoulders when I heard and saw that they were not following us Jasmine.

"Dapat sayo maiwan eh. Pahamak ka lang naman rito. Dahil sa init lagi ng ulo mo."

"Ako pa talaga? Those like you should be left, useless!"

"What did you said!?"

Nang makita kong makalayo sila Zenon ay agad kong hinawakan ang kamay ni Azalea. She immediately pulled it out and angrily looked at me.

"At bakit mo naman ako hinahawakan? Narealized mo na ba na pabigat ka lang!?" Kunot noo ko itong tinignan at hinawakan sa mga balikat nito.

"Sorry sa mga sinabi ko. Ginawa ko lang naman yun para iwan tayo at hindi makahalata."  She looked at me confused.

"Hindi kita maintindihan. Mamamatay na tayo ohh nasa delikado tayong sitwasyon hindi mo ba makita."

"Tss look walang mga tao oh walang zombie sa paligid malamang may tao dito okay? And I had something na alam kong kailangan mo makita. Even I could not understand what I saw. Look at this."  I handed her a picture. She took it and looked. I saw her tears welling up after seeing it.

"M-Mama." Pinunasan nito ang nga luha niya at tumingin sa akin. "Saan mo ito nakuha?"  She was still crying when she told me that she was accompanied by her little sobs.

I looked at her seriously and smirked with mixed anger.

"It is better for us to pretend na we're enemies first and you didn't know anything. Or a chaos will happen when the twins happened to know it. You know Zenon loves you so much even if you don't notice and ganyan ganern." Malaking ngisi kong saad sa kanya.

Nakita ko ang pag kunot ng mga noo niya habang nakatingin sa akin. "Anong mahal, nahihibang ka na ba?!"

I laughed out loud and took her hands to leave. Hinanap namin sila Zenon at nakitang sumisilip sila sa isang book store.

Honestly, I have no idea where are those freaks chasing us before are and also the creepy look of them is worse than the freaks we usually met before. Do you see a zombie with glowing eyes? What do they have a laser?

I laughed softly because of what I was thinking and that my other comrades could not hear. I let go of Azalea's hand before we could finally get close.

"Remember what I said, let's be enemies. Ugly."

"Ye, b*tch."

I hit her hard on the head causing her to get hurt. "A-Aray nam-man!"

"B"tch kasi. Amp*ta*

"You called me ugly!" Ngumisi ako dito at dumiretso kina Tabitha.

"Totoo naman."

"WHAT!?"  I just shook my head and finally left her place.

Zenon

Nakita naming nakabalik na sila Jasmine. But I could see Azalea's puffy eyes and Jasmine's rude looks at us.

What happened to them? I immediately approached Azalea and asked for it.

"Okay ka lang ba?" Nakita ko itong tumingin sa akin ng malungkot at umiling.

"Yea, yea don't mind me."

She's avoiding to look into my eyes. Hayst. I know nothing. Tinapik ko nalang ang braso niya at pinasunod siya sa amin.

Pinulot ko ang mga libro na nakakalat sa daan at inilagay sa mga book shelf dito sa book store. I actually suggested Thorn to leave here immediately. But he said it is dangerous for us to come out especially and at night maybe another monster would show us by chance.

Of all the places we've been to, this bookstore is neat and clean. There is still a carpet here so somehow we can sleep on the floor and we couldn't get cold.

I sat in a corner and meditated first. What was that monster before? and why are their eyes like that.
