I put the Nodachi on my back while Im holding Ryker from my left arm. I plan to go out now to get supplies again. Ryker is also getting tired of the bread I give him. Should I give him a hotdog? Hayst.

I really have no intention of going out. Ryker just can't afford my household items. My clothes do not fit on him. He just uses a blanket and its really cold in my house.

"gurhgaahmm." he said while his hand was full of saliva. I also plan to get guns at the gun shop but it looks like I really need to go to the city where this pandemic started.

I got in the car and turn on the engine.

I put Ryker on my leg and then fastened my seatbelt. I smirked at the thought of fighting those ugly creatures and giggle.

As I giggled Ryker turned his head and looked at me as if I was going crazy.

I just raised an eyebrow at him and start driving. Sometimes I think this kid understands me.

I smiled when I saw that we were okay here and were eating well. It has been almost a month since we arrived here at Aunt Laura's house. I still remember how we got here.

Tinignan ko ang pinto kung saan malakas na mga katok ang naririnig namin.

I could almost hear my heartbeat and my hands were getting cold as I approached the door and touched an ax on its side.

Binuksan ko ang pinto at hinanda ang axe na hawak hawak ko.

When I opened the door we saw a man wrapped in clothes and carrying a gun.

I immediately raised the ax I was holding but he aimed his gun at me so I also let go the ax and raised my hands as if im surrendering to the police.

"What do you need?." tinignan ko lang siya sa mata ng hindi kumukurap.

Hanggang kaya ko pinapanatili ko ang sarili ko na hindi nagpapatinag sa pag titig nito sa akin.

Ako lang ang lalaki rito at nangako ako kay Zenon at Xyron. Ngumiti siya sa akin kaya nakita ko ang silver nitong ngipin dahilan para mawala ang tensyon sa aming dalawa.

He lowered his gun and shifted his gaze to my companions while wearing his smile. "Are you guys only four? You guys are still young and this place is not safe anymore. I actually going to my wife and my son's house you can come if you want. It is also safer there especially since you guys do not have any strength to fight them."

Tinignan ko ang mga kasama ko. They don't seem scared and i think it's okay for them to go there.

"So, shall we come?" They nodded and smiled at me.

Nag iwan kami ng sulat para kina Zenon at Xyron kapag nakabalik na kami rito. Sinulat na rin namin doon ang address.

We got in their van and went there. It also took us about an hour to get there. Everything was fine and they also treated us well.

Pero halos walong oras na at 12mn na wala pa rin sila. Nag paalam kami kay Uncle Ed pero hindi niya kami pinayagan dahil mas delikado at mas agresibo raw ang mga zombie ayon sa kanya.

Bukas nalang daw namin sila puntahan.

The next day, we saw them there holding the paper we had left.

Nalaman rin namin ang nangyari sa kanila at pumayag din sila na sumama sa bahay nila uncle Ed.

I stood up suddenly when I heard gunshots. What's going on?

I quickly got off and went where they are. I was so shocked and scared to see how many zombies trying to enter the gate.

"Don't ask! Go and join Tabitha and Aunt Laura in the backyard to get out! Hurry up, we have no time!" Xyron yelled at me as they shot at the zombies as they broke down the gate.

Nakita ko silang tumatakbo papunta sa Van kaya sumunod na ako at sumakay sa Driver's seat.

I turned on the car engine at pinaandar habang bumabaril ay dali daling tumatakbo sina Xyron papunta sa likod ng sasakyan kaya naman.

Itinigil ko saglit para makasakay sila kaya dali dali naman silang tumakbo habang dala dala ang mga baril nito.

Nang makasakay sila ay nakita ko sa side mirror na patuloy pa rin nilang binabaril ang mga zombie lalo na ang mga nakakalapit rito.

Mga ilang saglit ng mawala na sa paningin namin ang maraming halimaw na iyon.

Inihinto ko muna saglit sa isang highway at walang katao tao.

Everyone sitting quietly and sweating profusely. No one seemed want to speak until Aunt Laura suddenly cried.

"Why are you crying?" uncle Ed asked curiously.

"Can't you see? Paolo is not here!" Uncle Ed was surprised and looked at us. His shock was replaced by the anger we saw it in his eyes.

"We d-do-" he stopped me by raising his voice to us.

"SHUT UP!"

"I saved you and helped! But why? Why did you leave my son? Why didn't you take him with you all! Why ?!"

We could see the anger and pain he was feeling as well as his clenched fist.

Tumungo lang ang nga kasama ko maliban kay Xyron na nakatingin lang sa aming lahat. Kahit ako napayuko dahil sa hiya kay uncle Ed.

He pointed his finger out of the car and spoke emphatically.

"Get out! Right now. Those who are indebted to us! We will come back to save my son and you guys will take care of your life."

We slowly got out of the car and when we got out, Uncle Ed immediately closed the door of the van and drove it back to their house.

Ang highway na ito ay malapit na sa city at malayo na sa subdivision na tinutuluyan nila Zenon.

Xyron looked at us.

"Woah! How lucky we are." he said using his cold tone.

Napayuko na lang ako.
